Kensington, PEI – Despite the inevitable and often tragic circumstances of life, a person can rise above and embrace their true essence to carry them through in the midst of crisis.
Carol Ann Arnim is the founder of Creating What You Desire, where she helps clients overcome their issues through a unique energy modality known as Faster EFT.
“Faster EFT had all the criteria I was looking for to embrace my potential,” says Carol Ann. “I was amazed where my mind took me. That’s why this process is so powerful. You’re able to see change in a quick period of time and the tapping becomes a lifetime habit.”
Created by Robert Smith, Faster EFT stands for Emotional Focused Transformation which is a combination of EFT, hypnosis and NLP. Faster EFT can address any issue such as addiction, weight, abuse, grief and fears.
“Every person always has something they are looking for, searching for and desiring,” says Carol Ann. “People are not broken. There’s nothing wrong with you. It’s how you carry the information within your body. Through Faster EFT you are able to release information and replace it with something good.”
Carol Ann begins work with a client by conducting an intake of personal history and current issues. She leads clients through the various points you tap on your body. In the process of tapping on these points, you can dislodge the cellular memory of what you are desiring to change.
“My goal is to help as many people as possible and in turn those people will help others. One cannot heal only oneself; you are impacting others in the process. It creates a ripple effect spiraling outward in to the universe. This is why I love this work.”

Who is magistrate Wayne Clarke and why did he send his fellow citizen, Maurice Sandiford, to Hotel Dodds? Tonight we will discuss the judicial system and its seemingly war-bent attiude against the ordinary Barbadian citizen. Pamela Beckles, recently appointed High Court Judge, was vouched for by all Naked Departure Group members. Congratulations are in order for this new justice. Insurance: Do you enter Kensington Oval and other government buildings at your own risk? And what would it take for the Auditor General, Leigh Trotman, to give Barbadians a list of all uninsured buildings? Is it legal to have an occupied (office) building without insurance? In case of emergency, will the government pay for injured persons, e.g., if an incident occurred at Kensington Oval? Join me this Thursday, December 3rd at 6pm EST for special return guest, Mingmei Yip. Mingmei believes that one should, besides being entertained, also get something out of reading a novel. Her latest novel, The Witch's Market, comes out in December by Kensington Books. Her other novels include: Skeleton Women Femmes Fatales); The Nine Fold Heaven, story of an ex spy and night-club singer undertaking a dangerous journey to look for her long lost lover and son; Peach Blossom Pavilion, story of the last Chinese Geisha; Petals from the Sky -- an interracial love story; Song of the Silk Road , an adventure, and love story. Her latest novel is a beautifully written story of intrigue and self-discovery.
Chinese-American assistant professor Eileen Chen specializes in folk religion at her San Francisco college. Though her grandmother made her living as a shamaness, Eileen publicly dismisses witchcraft as mere superstition. Yet privately, the subject intrigues her.
When a research project takes her to the Canary Islands—long rumored to be home to real witches—Eileen is struck by the lush beauty of Tenerife and its blend of Spanish and Moroccan culture. A stranger invites her to a local market where women sell amulets, charms, and love spells. Gradually Eileen immerses herself in her exotic surroundings, finding romance with a handsome young furniture maker. But as she learns more about the lives of these self-proclaimed witches, Eileen must choose how much trust to place in this new and seductive world, where love, greed, and vengeance can be as powerful, or as destructive, as any magic.

I had the privilege of meeting Esi at the Long Island Romance Writers Association summer luncheon, and she immediately grabbed my interest. She's passionate about books, writing, and publishing...and she believes in our need for diverse books. I was so excited to have a chance to discuss the lack of diversity in the commercial publishing world, how we can correct it, and why writing diverse characters can be a bit terrifying for some. Esi's a goldmine of information, and she talks about what she looks for as an editor for Kensington.
