    50th Anniversary of Kennedy Assassination

    in History

It's the 50th anniversary of the Kennedy assassination. Author Peter Kornbluh entertains the notion that John F. Kennedy's assassination was a conspiracy. Tune in!

Have you had your healthy dose of reality lately?

There are always at least two sides to every story. Have you ever wondered how someone, who saw the same thing you did, walked away telling a vastly different story? Which version was correct? Which one was the REAL story? Actually, both are! It’s just a matter of perspective.

Joe takes the issues… especially the controversial issues (politics, prejudice, religion, illegal immigration)… and brings in people from different sides to share their viewpoint. This is definitely not a fluff piece. And while no one is attacked, the questions are hard-hitting.

But the conversation is always respectful and you’re sure to learn something new, even if you don’t agree!

If you’ve always wondered how the “other side” thinks and how they’ve arrived at their “stand”, then this is the show for you!

It’s not the right side, it’s not the wrong side, but the REAL side of the issues!

Aaron “Stick” Scott spent twelve years of his life protecting his country. He diffused well over fifteen hundred bombs during the course of his military career, expecting each one to be his last. Luck had a huge part in his survival but it was fate that had a laugh at his expense by having a woman shatter his heart.

    Playing it safe…

What she hadn’t anticipated was getting caught up in political war where her life would be at risk. Her situation goes from bad to worse when the man she left behind is the only one who can save her.

    Igniting Passion…

Stick’s hostage rescue mission becomes sidetracked when he’s ordered to protect the one woman who couldn’t handle his job. Seeing her in the light of day brings back memories they’d both rather soon forget, but it’s the long evenings together that lights a fuse neither one can ignore. Will their reignited passion survive the highly explosive danger that’s coming their way?

Saturday Morning Cereal-Jamie Kennedy Star Wars and the Haters that Love Them

    in Entertainment

Take some time this week to remember your original happy hour: Saturday mornings as a kid, waking up at dawn, jumping on the couch with a bowl of cereal, turning on the ‘toons, tuning out the outside world, and working your way into a sugar hangover before noon. Join us as we talk to both the unfairly maligned Jamie Kennedy and the Star Wars prequels' defender Bradley Weatherholt all about the haters who love them.  Why all the hate over movies that are just made to entertain us? Why do strangers tell each other to f*ck off and die underneath kitten videos on YouTube? Why does it seem sometimes like everyone else on the internet is a stupid racist pig who should just f*ck off and die?! To get to the bottom of this we bring in some experts, Jamie Kennedy (Heckler, Scream, Son of the Mask, Three Kings, Malibu's Most Wanted) himself, plus Bradley Weatherholt of Ministry of Cinema to tell us about his new IndieGoGo documentary project The Prequels Strike Back (a noble defense of the Star Wars prequel trilogy using the complexly simple Star Wars Ring Theory). That's right, it's Bradley and B-Rad all on the same show! We'll make you laugh, we'll make you cry, we'll make you want to post that we should f*ck off and die. Follow us @StayClassySDCC and our mothership @MattyPRadioShow

    Interview with Twin Kennedy

    in Music

Their musical bond is as strong as their small town roots: Twin Kennedy, comprised of West Coast sisters Carli and Julie Kennedy, have been making music together since they could talk. Born and raised in the small town of Powell River, British Columbia, the sister duo grew up perfecting their sibling harmonies and dynamic live performances, while making their name known throughout their small community as a family band.

Growing up in such a musically infused family, it is no wonder that these sisters crafted their sound through a unique fusion of their background in country, folk, jazz and classical music. With years of classical training, including their Bachelors Degrees in Music Performance from the University of Victoria, the sisters have found their home in country music. With Carli on vocals and guitar, and Julie on vocals and violin, these petite powerhouses will fill your soul with joy and warmth through their seamless harmonies and heartfelt songwriting.

Having released two EPs - and receiving seven BCCMA Award nominations since 2012 - as Carli & Julie Kennedy, these sisters are set to debut their first album as Twin Kennedy on April 7th. Produced by multiple CCMA and JUNO award winning artist George Canyon and renowned producer Graham Sharkey, the album "It's A Love Thing" is a beautifully honest account of the ebb and flow of the navigation through love and life.
