Keith Handy has been composing, arranging, performing, recording, and producing original music since his childhood in the early 1980s, primarily, but not exclusively, in the style of progressive or "art" rock, including several concept albums and a rock opera.
Early on, he functioned primarily as keyboard player and support vocalist for various original and cover bands, but soon decided it was more important to focus on continued artistic growth than to navigate the internal politics of band membership. He started acquiring recording gear, learning the guitar, and going ever deeper with the crafts of arrangement and production.
In line with Keith's passion for the continual study of the creative process in all forms, he has since branched out into improv comedy (incorporating copious amounts of improvised music), computer art, programming in C++ for generative art and signal processing, puppetry and puppet making, and video editing.
Still a studio hermit, his long term goal is to make the bulk of his work available as a "box set" type multimedia package, as well as have a chunk of that collection visually interpreted as video and theatre.
When not immersed in all this complicated stuff, he is happy to drink a beer or two and play a few old songs on an acoustic guitar at your backyard fire.
Join host Vanessa Richardson and her special guest Gospel Recording Artist, Keith Williams. Keith will be discussing his new CD, "Thirsty for The Rain." and Apostle John Harris talks prophetic movements of God!

We are completely honored to have Keith Mitchell, mind/body expert, medical miracle and former All-Pro linebacker as our guest today on Sports Palooza Radio.
Keith was paralyzed in an NFL football game (he was an All-Pro linebacker with the Saints, Texans and Titans) but has transformed his life through yoga and meditation. He is now kicking off a ground-breaking pilot program with the University of Rochester Medical School to help retired NFL players and military veterans suffering from neurological diseases such as concussion syndrome and PTSD. Through the program, Keith and the doctors will use a combination of yoga, meditation and other alternative health care, combined with traditional medicine and pioneering telemedicine to treat those afflicted.
The program has the support of the NFL Players Association and a number of veterans services organizations. Keith Mitchell is launching the JUST BREATHE For Veterans campaign. He stops by today to talk about it. Please tune in. You won’t want to miss this interview.
True origin and history of the martial arts with GRAND MASTER Terryl Richardson
It is common place for people to say that martial arts originated in the far east (China, Japan). On occasion, I have heard people come close to the correct point of origin by saying Greece. With that I asked myself, “If it is true that every culture that had a need for any army had a form of martial arts, then why would it not be logical that martial arts originated where MAN originated?” I have come to learn that martial arts hieroglyphics appeared on the walls of Egyptian tombs 3,400 years B.C., before the arts arose in China and Japan. These hieroglyphics are found on the ancient temple of Karnak in Egypt. Every nation, or “tribe” in Africa has its own complex and complete martial arts styles and these styles can be seen all over the world.
There are many people who would argue that Greece contains the oldest records of combative arts such as wrestling, boxing, and Pankration. The Greeks began the practice of wrestling around 776 B.C. By that time Egypt was already ancient. It is known to scholars that the name Greece derives from an ancient name for Africa, “Nigrecia”. Present day scholars of what is commonly known as Greco-Roman wrestling attribute the origins of their sport to illustrations discovered on the walls of tombs at a region of ancient Egypt called Mahez, which has been renamed “Beni Hasan”, or “hill of the son of the Hasan family”. At Beni Hasan, in four separate tombs, there are hundreds of paintings on limestone walls that for the most part, have since decayed.

Due to technical difficulties with our broadcast server, we were unable to do our show on Friday, Aug. 7, with R Keith Andrews?. So we've rescheduled this show for Wednesday night on Spaced Out Radio?.
Making his second appearance on Spaced Out Radio, Psychic and ET Contactee, R. Keith Andrews joins us to talk about his contact with 25 different extraterrestrial species. We had one of our highest rated shows with Keith two months ago, and we're glad to bring him back on Spaced Out Radio again.
Andrews has been having "Contact" experiences since he was a child. Coincidentally, this is also when he realized that he had psychic ability as well. From making predictions, to mediumship, to talking with alien species, Keith's plethora of experience makes him a very interesting and intreguing person to interview. On this show, we will get into alien contact, how do we make contact, as well as to look for the signs that extraterrestrials are around us.
We will also talk about psychic ability, and how many of us tune out our natural intuitiveness.
Keith lives in Kelowna, British Columbia. He has his own office for people who are looking for readings and mediumship.
Dr. Mark H. Anshel is professor emeritus at Middle Tennessee State University in Murfreesboro, Tennessee (USA). Dr. Anshel received a Bachelor of Science degree in education from Illinois State University, a Master of Arts degree from McGill University (Montreal) and a Ph.D. from Florida State University (Ph.D.) in performance psychology. Dr. Anshel has 140 research articles published in scientific journals, and numerous books and book chapters in the areas of sport psychology, exercise psychology, and coping with stress. His books include Applied Health Fitness Psychology, Applied Exercise Psychology: A Practitioner’s Guide to Improving Client Health and Fitness (2006), and Sport Psychology: From Theory to Practice (5th ed.). Dr. Anshel has worked as a consultant for the Murfreesboro Police Department for six years in the areas of wellness and stress management. In more recent years of his career Dr. Anshel has developed, validated (in several journal publications), and authored research articles and book chapters on the Disconnected Values Model. The model posits that people are motivated to change their unhealthy habits when they identify an inconsistency, or “disconnect,” between their unhealthy actions and their values (e.g., health, family, faith, integrity, happiness, among others). Behavior change is more likely when the long-term consequences of maintaining unhealthy habits – maintaining the disconnect – are acknowledged and viewed as unacceptable.
His work with skilled athletes, law enforcement, and highly successful corporate clients over the years indicated a clear need to reexamine our culture’s tendency to recognize success without acknowledging, even celebrating, failure as an integral part of achievement and success. To winners, failure is a gift.
Shannon Fisher interviews Shannon Keith, President and Founder of the Beagle Freedom Project (BFP). You've seen the viral YouTube videos showing terrified beagles hesitant to come out of crates but ultimately overcoming their fear and frolic in the grass? Those were made by BFP! Shannon Keith's organization fights for animal rights on many levels, from fighting for legislation requiring humane treatment of laboratory animals to physically rescuing beagles used in laboratory testing and helping them assimilate into life outside of the lab - and ultimately finding them loving homes.
Most beagles used in experiments have never seen grass, the sun, or anything outside the walls of a laboratory. They have received little or no affection & are often afraid of people. Beagle Freedom Project is doing some amazing work in bringing joy & love to these animals. Shannon and her BFP team work tirelessly to rescue animals from cruel circumstances, rehabilitate them, and get them the love and care they deserve.
