Multi award-winning actress, Kathleen Gati was born and raised in Canada by Hungarian immigrants and was brought up in an artistic environment. Her father was a symphony conductor and her mother was an opera singer, so performing was in her blood. She started acting at the age of three, wrote, directed and starred in her first play at the age of eight. She pursued ballet and acting till the age of twenty, when she moved to New York to study acting full time.
After performing in dozens of plays both on and Off Broadway, as well as working in numerous roles on television and in film, Kathleen traveled to Hungary for the film, Goldberg variaciok (1992) for which she won the Hungarian Best Supporting Actress Award.

She subsequently stayed on in Hungary for five years, during which time she starred in numerous films, television series and several movies of the week winning multiple additional awards along the way. Her performance in Hungary's biggest hit of the 1990s, Sose halunk meg (1993), (We Never Die - which made the final 35 films selected for Best Foreign Film Entries for the Academy Awards) made her an extremely popular actress in Eastern and Central Europe. Current, Kathleen has returned to General Hospital, reprising her role as Dr. Lisa Obrecht.
Please join me as I sit down with Ms. Kathleen Gati, who plays the deliciously evil Dr. Lisa Obrecht on ABC's General Hospital. We'll chat about how she arrived in Port Charles & I will, as with all first time guests, ask some fun, quirky questions to help you guys get to know her as a person. If you don't hear a word from me in 30 minutes, Dr. Obrecht has killed me...I kid, I kid. Anyway, I can't wait for this one!

Passport to Priorities

Your Roadmap to Balanced Living
Over twenty years ago I realized my life was out of balance. I spent all my time working, going to school, and studying.
I didn’t have time for my husband much less myself. Faced with the prospect of losing my marriage, I realized I had lost sight of my true priorities. That was the start of my life balance journey.
Having made positive changes in my life, I am passionate about helping others break their “achievement addiction” and live life more fully.
As a speaker and life coach, I empower women to live according to their purpose, values, and priorities, which results in greater balance, peace and satisfaction.

Even at birth, everyone is unique. Can heredity alone account for the complex differences in people’s temperaments and styles? The Michael teachings, an increasingly popular body of channeled work, propose that we are each unique souls who deliberately take on a specific combination of traits to give us the experiences we seek.
