Ronda Rousey got knocked the f@#$ out Saturday night! And as a result, Holly Holm is now the new UFC Bantamweight Champion. UFC 193 will go down in history as the setting for one of the largest upsets in MMA history. Join Kevin, Ed, Vince, and Big Pete as we discuss the media fallout and the likelihood of a rematch. In the NFL, the great Peyton Manning was benched for possible heir apparent, Mr. Brock Osweiler. Have the Broncos moved on from the legendary Peyton Manning or is this merely a cog in the wheel of a tumultuous season? Along with the NFL, we promise to keep you up to speed on the NBA and breaking news in the world of sports.
New England looked human beating the New York Giants on a 54 yard field goal by Stephen Gostowski. The Giants almost pulled off the victory, kicking the go ahead field with 1:47 remaining. Tom Brady converted a fourth and ten during the last drive, finding Danny Amendola for a 12 yard gain. The win keeps the Patriots perfect season in place while holding a four game lead over the Buffalo Bills and New York Jets.
The Houston Texans did enough to hand the Cincinnati Bengals their first loss. They held Andy Dalton to 197 passing yards, and kept the Bengals out of the end zone. T.J. Yates tossed a 22 yard touchdown to DeAndre Hopkins, on the fourth play of the fourth quarter that gave the Texans the go ahead score. The Texans win puts them in a tie with the Indianapolis Colts for first place, in the AFC South.
The Broncos have lost two in a row, and Peyton Manning. Manning sustained and injury in the loss to the Chiefs. Manning had five completions and four interceptions. Brock Osweiler will get the start against the Chicago Bears. Even with the loss the Broncos still hold a three game lead over the Chiefs.
The Minnesota Vikings have put together a five game winning streak. This winning streak coupled with a three game Packers losing streak, puts the Vikings in first place. At 7-2, the Vikings have quietly made enough plays to win football games. Adrian Peterson added another 200 yard rushing game to his Hall of Fame resume. His sixth 200-yard game ties him with O.J. Simposon for the most in NFL history. The Vikings intercepted Derek Carr twice, and shutout the Raiders in the second half en route to a 30-14 victory.
We recap some of the important games from Week nine, in the NFL. The Denver Broncos visited Indianapolis and Andrew Luck got the better of Petyon Manning. The Broncos sitll have a three game lead over the Oakland Raiders, in the AFC West. The suprising Raiders traveled to Heinz Field and tied the game late. Backup quarterback Landry Jones led the Steelers down the field to kick the game winning field goal after Ben Roethlisberger was injured. This is the second injury this season for Roethlisberger. After spraining his knee, he now has sprained his foot and his return is undetermined at this time. The Minnesota Vikings needed overtime to defeat the pesky St. Louis Rams. The Vikings move to 6-2 and claim a share of the NFC North lead. Listen in and give us a call with your favorite game of the weekend.

The Chicago Bears lost to the Denver Broncos yesterday 17-15. The defense again gave up an early touchdown before settling in, and they couldn't manage to take the ball away from Brock Osweiler in his first career start. The shorthanded offense fought valiantly against the NFL's best defense, and came a 2-point conversion away from sending the game into overtime. But again, questionable decisions from the coaching staff late in the game has many fans feeling like this could have been another win for a team that has showed resolve after an 0-3 start. Now, the Bears playoff chances are likely dead with a 4-6 record and a trip to Lambeau looming on Thursday. Call in @ 347.327.9183! BECAUSE CHICAGO LOVES SPORTS.
Joey Alibro, Ryan Whitefield and Ha Kung Wong are back for another Football Garbage Time Podcast, this time, the NFL Week 11 Edition! This week we'll discuss:
What's best for the Denver Broncos at QB for the rest of the season, Brock Osweiler or Peyton Manning?
With Tony Romo returning and Dez Bryant finally 100% healthy, are the Cowboys ready to take over the NFC East?
Best fantasy football running back pickup (or, backup RB most likely to make an impact for the remainder of the 2015 season): Tevin Coleman (Falcons), Javorius "Buck" Allen (Ravens), Spencer Ware (Chiefs) or Thomas Rawls (Seahawks)?
Our current picks for AFC champ, NFC champ and MVP so far this season.
And much MORE!!
We will be talking sports and having fun doing it. Expected to be joined by Arizona Cardinals DL Rodney Gunter who will discuss the Cardinals big win against the Seahawks. Also, talking all things NFL. Have we seen the last of Peyton Manning? Can the Patriots really go 16-0? Do you have a problem with Cam Newton and the dancing? Also, NBA talk as well. Was firing Kevin McHale the right move for the Rockets? Can the Warriors really win 70 games? Call 646-727-3070 to join the fun,

A “relaxed” Frat House Saturday program is coming your way (after a few weeks off) and, it couldn’t be too soon. But, be warned, it’s football-centric as one would expect for nearing the end of November.
We start it off with a conversation from our weekly all-NFL Frat House Sports’ Red Zone Blitz program where Frat House Mike & Brandon got into a conversation about the “Golden Age of Mediocrity” we’re living through right now in the NFL.
Then our good friend Eric Purdy joins us LIVE to trash talk some college football as we wind down to the end of the seasons and now we’ll be looking at Bowl bids – and, the stupid College Football Playoff Selection Committee.
The legacy of Peyton Manning came up on our weekly Frat House Sports’ Fantasy Friday show. THAT’s a MUST listen. And finally, you do not want to miss our always classic, Frat House Sports’ NFL Picks-of-the-Week: Dallas Cowboys – Miami Dolphins / Denver Broncos – Chicago Bears / Green Bay Packers – Minnesota Vikings / Cincinnati Bengals – Arizona Cardinals.
We’re giving thanks for the fact Frat House Saturday is back! . . . and, taking your calls as well to 347 – 826 – 9964!
