Nothing like it before. Nothing like it since. Murder Inc. was the most unusual, brutal and extensive collection of characters the American underworld had ever produced. Culled primarily from Brooklyn's Brownsville and Ocean Hill sections, these official on-call killers of New York's larger crime Syndicate were a unified force of Jewish and Italian gangsters that treated murder as an art form for an entire decade.
They were called mobsters, thugs, hoods and racketeers, but at the very core... they were assassins. When gangland kingpins, such as Louis "Lepke" Buchalter, Charles "Lucky" Luciano and Benjamin "Bugsy" Siegel, needed a contract fulfilled - the "Combination" boys would eagerly take to task the enforcement duties, which included methods ranging from gunfire to fire axes, incineration to icepicks.
These are the mysteries, the sordid stories, the character profiles, alluring and lesser known tales of the Mob's Most Deadly Hit Squad. Meet the killers, the victims, the bosses, the lovers, the deceivers and the gangbusters that made up a nationally-reaching ensemble cast rivaling anything organized crime or law enforcement had ever imagined to that point in time. Discover the nuances, the attitudes, the motivations, the ambitions and, thanks to little honor among thieves, the scathing revelations that lead to an inevitable downfall. Helenor bye Murder On The Nhs
Dr. Rima Interviews the Byes:
The Natural Solutions Foundation produced the above-linked exclusive one-hour interview with Derek and Joan Bye, whose daughter Helenor died a totally preventable, slow and agonizing death at age twelve. Helenor died in a National Health Service (government) hospital in Wales after being illegally enrolled in a drug trial without parental knowledge or consent.
Helenor, an honoured student, was murdered by a combination of cover-up and lies in 1977. The cover-up of her murder and that of countless others like her, continues to this day.
What you are about to read is disturbing. What is even more disturbing is that the situation did not end with the horrifying manner in which Helenor died: the abuse she suffered both before and after her unnecessary death continues today against the most vulnerable of us: our children and our elderly.

A messed up life and totally wore out by satan describes where Apostle Karen Dunham had come from. The Lord saved her and her son Blake from the clutches of the mafia 11 years ago, and she has followed Jesus Christ without looking back. From the deepest pit to a position in God is how she describes where the Lord has placed her today.
Karen Dunham first visited Israel around 10 years ago with Swansea Bible College on a governmental invitation. She was introduced to the city of Jericho (an off limits city for tourist) in 2002 on tour, then returned in 2003. She was told by a Jerusalem priest, “if you will feed these people [meaning the Palestinian refugees], ‘You will win the city for the Lord.” This was the sword of the Lord she ran with.
today she is a Apostle/Director at Living Bread International Church Jerusalem
Past: Living Bread International Church and I Work for the Lord, Atlanta, Ga.
My guest this week is Karen Maezen Miller, author of Paradise in Plain Sight: Lessons from a Zen Garden.
About the book:
When Zen teacher Karen Maezen Miller and her family land in a house with a hundred-year-old Japanese garden, she uses the paradise in her backyard to glean the living wisdom of our natural world. Through her eyes, rocks convey faith, ponds preach stillness, flowers give love, and leaves express the effortless ease of letting go. The book welcomes readers into the garden for Zen lessons in fearlessness, forgiveness, presence, acceptance, and contentment. Miller gathers inspiration from the ground beneath her feet to remind us that paradise is always here and now.
About the author:
Karen Maezen Miller is a wife and mother as well as a Zen Buddhist priest at the Hazy Moon Zen Center in Los Angeles. She and her family live in Sierra Madre, California, with a century-old Japanese garden in their backyard. She writes about spirituality in everyday life. She is the author of Paradise in Plain Sight: Lessons from a Zen Garden, Hand Wash Cold: Care Instructions for an Ordinary Life, Momma Zen: Walking the Crooked Path of Motherhood, and her writing is included in numerous anthologies.
Born Case Woodard, R&B star Case inherited his musical gifts from his father who was once a member of 70’s funk band Cameo. The oldest sibling of 3, the New York native grew up in a strict household and although music was the bond that tied him and his father together, it would also tear them apart. Case’s solo career took off in 1996 with the release of "Touch Me, Tease Me" (with rapper Foxy Brown and R&B singer Mary J. Blige) from The Nutty Professor soundtrack, going gold and reaching #4 on the R&B charts and #63 on the Hot 100. His self-titled debut Case soon followed along with the minor R&B hit singles "More to Love" and "I Gotcha." Case followed the success of his first album with the release of Personal Conversation in 1999. The album featured the hits "Happily Ever After" (which reached #3 on the R&B charts and #15 on the Hot 100) and "Faded Pictures," (released April 20, 1999), which featured R&B singer Joe and reached #3 on the R&B charts and #10 on the Hot 100. "Happily Ever After" featured Beyoncé in the video as Case's love interest. The album's third single, "Think of You" managed to only reach #50 on the R&B charts and Personal Conversation achieved platinum status.
In 1997, the lyrics to Tracey Lee’s smash, The Theme (It’s Party Time) could be heard in every club from the east to west coast, and Tracey could be seen on national television shows such as BET Rap City: The Basement, HBO’s ARLI$$ and more. From the success of a popular single, there can be ups and downs, as Tracey found out shortly after the release of his first album, Many Facez. Now, let’s start from the beginning ...
