Predictions for the year
Phoebe will also share her experience at the pre-season Seahawks vs Chargers game and the segment Biggest Winner and Biggest Loser.
As if we couldn't give you more NFL football to satisfy your addiction to it, we found a way through a new segment entitled Uppers & Downers. As the name suggests, we'll look at the football over NFL week 3 that made us rise up off our couches in excitement and celebration. Then, we'll look at the football that made us want to sit right back down in disgust and bewilderment. Ultimately, we'll dive deeper into the NFL to make sure no stone goes unturned including Carson Palmer, Andrew Luck, Andy Dalton, Oakland Raiders, Baltimore Ravens, Kam Chancellor, Colin Kaepernick and much more.
Of course, before the NFL ensues on Sunday, there's college football on Saturday and a lot of weird things happening that came out of week 4. UCLA football and Utah Utes football are laying their claim on the Pac 12 south title. Stories of Stanford football and their supposed demise after a shocking week 1 loss against Northwestern are proving to be greatly exaggerated as we'll discuss. And, we'll talk about the Oregon Ducks getting Oregoned by Utah in Autzen Stadium plus more.
In our ongoing coverage of #NFL2LA, we'll convene another panel from the Facebook page, LA Rams vs St Louis Rams to talk about the latest development in which San Diego Chargers owner, Dean Spanos, said he won't partner with Stan Kroenke and what that means as well as what that could lead to.
Will that be enough football for you? BOOM!!!
Join us on 9/29/20015 while we discuss NFL football, we will take a look deeply into the problems and issues with the San Francisco 49ers. We will also be joined by Philly Sports Live Writter David Malandra Jr. Of course we will have our usual antics, another great Trash Man and an awesome Deena report.
Chris Morrison and Marty Elm will discuss who is in the lead in the NBA MVP race. We will also talk about whether Colin Kaepernick is worth $18 million a year or not. As usual, we'll discuss other sports topics that are trending online and in the national media. Of course, we'll also have Seattle-related topics since we're broadcasting from Washington!

It's hard to get too far into the Week 4 edition of Behind Enemy Lines without discussing how great it is having Aaron Rodgers as quarterback of the Green Bay Packers. Chris and Amanda talk about what it might mean if Davante Adams keeps getting hurt and what the running back rotation looks like now, before gushing over the play of Mike Daniels and Clay Matthews on defense. They then welcome in old friend Al Sacco, a writer for Ninerfans.com and 49erswebzone.com to the show to talk about what's become of San Francisco 49ers quarterback Colin Kaepernick, how long the Jim Tomsula Era might last, and then they try to make sense of how good the rest of the NFC West actually is.
Behind Enemy lines is brought to you by hosts, Amanda Geffre and Chris Callaway. Read Amanda's work over at CheeseSportsLife and Chris's musings as Sports Director for the Lacrosse Radio Group.
Insert your catchy story line right here. This game has a number of fascinating storys to go along with the game. Mike McCarthy was on the San Francisco 49ers staff when they passed up Aaron Rodgers and took Alex Smith with the first pick, in the 2005 NFL draft. Rodgers favorite team growing up was the San Francisco 49ers. He is also a California native. Colin Kaepernick is a Wisconsin native, and has never lost a game to the Packers (3-0 including playoffs). Kaepernicks' single game career highs in passing yards (412) and rushing yards (181) both came against the Packers.
Now that the story lines are out of the way, lets take a look at the keys to the game. Aaron Rodgers has been nothing short of spectacular through the first three weeks of the NFL season (67-91, 771 yards, 10 tds). The offense has taken on a different dimension with the loss of Jordy Nelson, but they have averaged 32 points per game. That is more than double the 15 points per game that the San Francisco 49ers have averaged per game. The 49ers have relied on Carlos Hyde who ranks third, in the NFL, in rushing with 262 yards.
The Packers will have to have excellent lane discipline to contain Kaepernick, and should try to keep him in the pocket. When he breaks the pocket, he can be dangerous with his arm and legs. If the Packers can win at the point of attack, like they did against Seattle and Kansas City, they could make it long day for the 49ers. Rodgers will have to continue using all of his weapons. The short passing game and run after the catch have equated to three victories. The 49ers defense gives up 31 points per game and are allowing 284 passing yards per game. On paper, this is a huge advantage for Rodgers and the Packers offense. To maintain the momentum, the Packers will have to protect the ball and keep the penalties to a minimum. Listen in to the show to hear who Evan and Troy pick to win the game.
The guys are joined by 12th man rising editor Keith Myers to discuss the state of the Seahawks. Plus the guys preview Monday night's game vs the Lions.

A very, VERY different “relaxed” Frat House Saturday comes your way here as it’s really two-shows-in-one!
For the first hour Frat House Mike will be taking a look around Major League Baseball at the potential playoff landscape; the NFL with a full slate of Week 1 games coming on the first Football Sunday of 2015; and, we’re now into Week 2 of the College Football season which means we’ll be joined for a bit of “Trash Talkin’ with Purdy” to find out which games are on Eric’s radar! (THAT is “must listen” Saturday afternoon radio!)
IN THE SECOND HOUR THOUGH . . .
We bring you our immediately popular Fantasy Friday program with Nik “Sweetness” Swartz and Caleb “On Sports” to look around Week 1 of the NFL.
They’re bringing their position rankings; specific match-up’s; who to sit – who to start? Other questions: do you play Jameis Winston or Marcus Mariota in Week 1? Who’s the better fantasy QB – Teddy Bridgewater or Colin Kaepernick? Will EVERY Philadelphia Eagles game be the BIGGEST Fantasy game-of-the-week?
But MOST importantly, they’re taking your first week fantasy questions and dilemmas via Twitter (@FratHouseMike @CalebonSports @Sweetnesz13) & on the phone at 347 – 826 – 9964.
Be sure to just tune in at 2 p.m. ET and give a listen to our two-for-one program day!
