Meet author Dr. Lucie K. Lewis. She will be my guest to discuss her book, I AM: Renewal From Within the Garden
About the book:
Much is said about the importance of knowing what you stand for so that you do not fall for just anything, but knowing what you stand on is what keeps you standing in the face of whatever comes. What you stand on becomes the anchor of your life. Dr. Lewis had anchored herself in the wisdom of a trusted confidant standing through this cherished loved-one s strength. When this very special woman died, Dr. Lewis felt lost until she could reanchor her life through a search that led her on a journey of emotional healing. In this work, Dr Lewis guides you through the lessons that soothed her weary soul and lifted her from depression. This book is for all who seek renewal, awakening, restoration, and hope in tomorrow.

Meet author Ron Boehm. Ron will be my guest on the show to discuss his new book, The Boys on Cherry Street: From the Crazy Innocence of College to the Loss of Innocenc in Vietnam.
About the book:
The Boys on Cherry Street is a collection of stories both humorous and heroic. The stories start with the zany and outrageous antics of the author and his college friends and continues through his U.S. Marine Corps training, flight school and service in Vietnam. There are many great books written about the Vietnam War—its heroes, their courage and sacrifice. However, this book is different in that it also shows the keen sense of humor that some men showed in some of the most stressful situations imaginable. It was this sense of humor that Boehm believe was part of their coping mechanism that got them through the tense situations of combat. The book is a salute to the young men of the Vietnam War Era who answered their country’s call.
About the author:
Ron Boehm was born and raised in New Orleans, Louisiana. After graduation from Southeastern Louisiana College he went through OCS in the U.S. Marine Corps and was commissioned an officer. He was one of the first group of aviation students the Marine Corps sent through U.S. Air Force Flight School. After earning his Air Force and Navy Wings’ he flew the A6A Intruder in combat and served as a Forward Air Controller with the 7th Marine Regiment in Vietnam. Ron Currently lives in Houston, Texas has two children and owns a construction company. This is his second book.
53 is the new 20 Nancy feels as if she's at the cusp of her life rather than dragging toward the end. At the age of 49, she believed suicide was her only choice. Major depression turned into a suicide attempt, yet four years later she's not the same woman.
Therapy unveiled the world of emotions, taught it is ok to pursue self-care, and expressed one's personal value at any age. God used this time to retrain me and to adjust her worldview.
Nancy's purpose is to tell people they are valuable and life will be worth it again one day, in hopes they will hang on to her story even when they have no faith in their own. In hopes they will hang on to my story even when they have no faith in their own.
