Justina Mutale is one of the most influential and inspirational women of African origin, she was awarded the AFRICAN WOMAN OF THE YEAR 2012, an honour bestowed upon her on the same platform as Archbishop Desmond Tutu of South Africa as well as the former President of Malawi, The Rt. Hon. Joyce Banda and the former female Deputy Prime Minister of Zimbabwe, The Hon. Thokozani Khupe. Voices of Anakazi speaks yet another Champion of Zambia!!! Justina Mutale, founder of Positive Runway:Global Catwalk to stop the spread, has won the ‘African Woman of the Year’ Award in the prestigious African Achievers’ Awards held in London on Wednesday 22 February 2012, at Kings College.
Her voluntary organization, POSITIVE RUNWAY, www.positiverunway.com which raises awareness against the spread of HIV and AIDS, received the ‘Service to the Community’ Award at the same ceremony.
Justina joins a host of prominent African dignitaries nominated this year, including Archbishop Desmond Tutu, who was the first recipient of the African Achievers Award in recognition for his fight for Human Rights, Justice and Peace.

New Jersey based singer, rapper, and songwriter Justina has been building a strong internet presence in the past months with her music videos garnering front-page features on notable websites and blogs.
Justina’s music showcases her eclectic and edgy ability to fuse hip-hop with her playful pop sensibility and distinctive raspy vocal tone. Her critically acclaimed sound — which has been compared to Nicki Minaj and Kesha — has music fans of all eras hailing her the ”Hip-Hop Joan Jett”.
