Tom Ingrassia is a motivational speaker, writer and Motown historian. In 2001, Tom left a successful, 25-year career in higher education to pursue his lifelong dream of working in the entertainment industry, with the formation of Ingrassia Productions and Artist Management.
Along the way, he had the opportunity to work with many of the legendary singers he grew up listening to and idolizing in the 1960s, including Arlene Smith (The Chantels), Barbara Alston (The Crystals), June Monteiro (The Toys), The Velvelettes, and Carl Gardner (The Coasters). The highlight, however, was serving as Executive Assistant and Creative Director for Mary Wilson, of The Supremes, from 2001-05.

This week, we are joined by musician and activist Spiritchild. Spiritchild, a freedom singer from the south Bronx by way of Brooklyn, uses the arts to cultivate cultural revolution. As the founder of the "Movement In Motion" Artist & Activist Collective, he has integrated activism and hip hop music production. He also serves as the rhythmic poet of the hip hop fusion band "Mental Notes," where he uses his music to dissect the injustices facing the poor and oppressed, inspiring action on environmental and social justice in NYC and around the world.

Ralph is pushing for her immediate release to receive urgent medical care needed in hopes to prolong her life. Also joining us is Matt Meyer, a native New York City-based educator, activist, and author, whose human rights work with the War Resisters International and the International Peace Research Association has taken him to speaking engagements on five continents.
