Beauty begins with a great foundation." Words to live by from our friend and sponsor Jill Zarin. Best known for her appearance on RHONYC, this outspoken native Long Islander knows a thing or two about beauty.
She designed a fabulous collection of shapewear and legwear for you. As a television personality and entrepreneur, She has a very busy schedule and doesn’t always have the time to work out. As she traveled the country most of the women she met were even busier than her, some working 2 jobs, balancing work, family and home. What we all have in common is the need for an immediate solution to smooth out certain areas of our body so we can “Skweez” into our clothes and feel confident and beautiful at any size.
You know what it’s like when you take home a brand new box of shoes? Imagine giving that feeling to someone who really needs them; the stories they hold, and the new stories, memories and opportunities that await them.
Scour your home for as many shoes as you can find and put them into a gigantic box; more is definitely better. Print out a bunch of SoleMate notes because now it’s time to share all of your shoe stories. You’ve done the hard work; we’ll cover the shipping costs.

REAL HOUSEWIVES AND JEWISH MOTHER(S)
Jill Zarin, the breakout star of Bravo's hugely successful The Real Housewives of New York City, is no ordinary Real Housewife. Her effervescent persona coupled with extensive philanthropic work has set her apart from her glamorous New York City cohorts.
Jill's devotion to charitable public health organization comes from personal experience. Both her daughter and step son have been diagnosed with Arthritic diseases, and it is her mission to raise money for Arthritis and bringing people together to learn about managing and living with the disease. Philanthropist Jill is also involved in many other charities.
Along with her mother, Gloria Kamen, and sister, Lisa Wexler, Jill has co-authored a book, "Secrets Of A Jewish Mother," released on April 15. Three books will be given to lucky listeners!
“The Lisa Wexler Show” began on September 30, 2006 on Coxradio’s WSTC/WNLK in Fairfield County, CT. with Governor Jodi Rell as the first guest. Gloria Kamen has been spreading her wisdom around for years. She currently writes advice for NY's The Daily News and Bravo.com
Hosts Sharon Haver & Brad Boles talk with Jill Zarin about the meaning of friendship, fame, matchingmaking, love, family, and of course, "The Secrets Of A Jewish Mother," from Jill's new book.
Lisa Wexler Show
When I heard the title of this book I thought about two things. My own Jewish mother,my sister, and matzo ball soup. That is why I am so excited to interview Jill and Lisa (sisters) and Gloria (their Jewish mother) on Blog Talk Radio. Their book, "Secrets of a Jewish Mother" is flying off the shelves, as moms of all backgrounds can relate to the wisdom of a Jewish mother. What is a Jewish mother, or family get together, without a bowl of fluffy matzo ball soup? Join me and Beth Rosen as we find out what Jill, Lisa, and Gloria serve-up for their regular family get togethers, especially during the High Holidays in the fall and at Passover in the springtime.
The Jewish Mother knows what she wants. And what you should want too. In Secrets of a Jewish Mother, you'll learn how to make her methods your very own, and as result you'll give and get of love and happiness in great amounts.
In what could be thought of as the Jewish Mother's Guide to Life, Jill Zarin, the breakout star of Bravo's hit series, The Real Housewives of New York, teams up with her sister, Lisa Wexler, award-winning host of daily radio program The Lisa Wexler Show, and her mother, the estimable Gloria Kamen who made a splash on Jill's series last year. Secrets of a Jewish Mother shows readers that being clear about what you want is the best policy, and standing up for yourself and your family is always the right way to go. Using real life examples, stories from Jill, Lisa and Gloria, this mother/daughter trio reveals their secrets to life, love, and happiness.
And, remember, a lot of love and a little matzoh ball soup never hurt anyone.
Please join us as we welcome Real Housewife of New York Jill Zarin and her sister, Lisa Wexler, host of the popular radio show Lunch With Lisa as they talk to us about their book Secrets of A Jewish Mother, which they co-wrote with their mother, the amazing and wonderfully outspoken, Ms. Gloria Kamen.
Despite what you may think, you do not need to be Jewish to be a Jewish mother. Nor do you need to be a parent. Being a Jewish mother means carrying yourself with a certain attitude that is not necessarily confrontational, but always assertive. So for all of you who want to know what it takes to be a Jewish mother this show is for you.
The Real Housewives of New York City has made Jill Zarin one of the most beloved Jewish mothers in the country. When her mother, Gloria Kamen, made her appearance in Season 2, the world came to know the origin of Jill’s style.
Lisa Wexler, Jill’s sister, who has her own award-winning daily radio show embodies the same authentic, caring, and over the top style.
Together as a terrific team, they have written a wonderful book "SECRETS of A Jewish Mother" - filled with lessons on friendships, marriage, dating and money that will help us live a meaningful life and maintain lasting relationships. As an added bonus, we will also learn how to make a mean matzoh ball soup!
These wonderful ladies will be sharing with me their Secrets for a success family that everyone can embrace because “unconditional motherly love” transcends all cultures.
