Sam Thurman, Cliff Stewart and Ethel Lopez of the Colorado exoneration firm A Just Cause, discuss what happens when the wheels of justice trample unbridled over the rights of innocent Americans.
Although the American system of justice is the most-respected worldwide, it is still a system designed, and operated, by humans, which means it's not perfect. Sam, Cliff and Ethel will highlight ongoing struggles against "the system" to free wrongfully imprisoned people, and what happens when justice miscarries against an actually innocent person.

Reporter Michael Volpe joins us to update the story of Norman Hughes, a Korean & Viet Nam war vet being held against his will in an assisted living center, endorsed by the Memphis VA Center. Mr. Volpe initially investigated and reported on the abuse of Hughes, August 1, 2014 on the Daily Caller.
We will also be discussing the "Orwellian recklessness of both family and probate court, corruption on the part of Guardian ad Litem and other professionals, the media's reluctance to report on it because of the personal nature he said/she said nature of the story, all of which leads to systemic corruption."
Mr. Volpe is one of those rare reporters willing to actually look at the growing abuses of family and probate courts, and to report it.
Chicago-based writer Michael Volpe spent more than a decade in finance before becoming a freelance journalist. His work has appeared in such national publications as the Daily Caller, FrontPage Magazine, CounterPunch, and the Southern Christian Leadership Conference Newsletter. His first book, Prosecutors Gone Wild: The Inside Story of the Trial of Chuck Panici, John Gliottoni and Louise Marshall was published in October, 2013, and his second book, The Definitive Dossier of PTSD in Whistleblowers, was published in 2013.
On today's show, I discuss how corruption is rampant throughout Western society. Jesus said that the love of money is the root of all evil. Greed (the love of money) is the reason why the federal reserve as well as all other central banks on the earth exist. There is only so much wealth on this planet, and the true source of wealth is people, not money or gold or currency. The wealthy are responsible, either directly or indirectly, for the bulk of society's problems, including poverty (Jesus also said that we will always have the poor with us and also that it is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter into the Kingdom of Heaven). While Capitalism is an effective economic system, the economic system in the U.S. is Fascism, or the merger of State and Corporate powers. True Capitalism creates wealthy individuals who give back to society and provide stable good paying jobs. Fascism siphons wealth away from a population in order to enrich a few who never give back to society unless it somehow benefits those few, (think Wal-Mart or every other major big box retailer as an example) and where the only jobs that are created are low paying jobs where the corporate heads benefit at the expense of the employees. Sound familiar??? That's because the economic system in the U.S. and worldwide is Fascism, not Capitalism.
Corruption can be seen when politicians (local, state, or federal) take tax dollars from the people in order to give it to their friends (think bail-outs, subsidizing anything, providing weapons of war and "foreign aid" to other countries). Understanding what deception is and how it is used can enable you to cut through the strong delusion taking hold over the planet today and see the truth. Priestcraft is rampant everywhere throughout the media and in local organizations. Be aware of anybody that advertises and speaks in order to get paid...they love money.

Hands Up Don't Shoot is Ferguson's call to Justice. Justice for Mike Brown. Justice in the courts now and hereafter. Judicial, economic, and social justice is being attacked daily in communities like Ferguson all acorss America. It is the community of Ferguson that have stood up, with hands up and made their mark as the thumbprint of what an America of equality should look like. Ferguson asks for Justice in the courts, Justice in employment opportunities, pay, benefits, and social justice with adequate representation in community services like policing, boards, legislators. Social equality must be reflected in schools, housing, medical institutions, roads and grant and loan opportunities from community banking to grow community businesses.
Ferguson residents who critized the non arrest of the shooter has been treated as terrorists. Ferguson residents who supports the shooter has been treated as all American citizens should be treated. Police departments from several areas participated in a practice exercise on use of warfare equipment against those who object to a live being taken with no arrest. The draw down on American citizens was absolutely unnecessary. It was extreme, war like, and I have not doubt that community will need therapy for years to come. Those actions have been internalized and will show up in the daily lives of the community of Ferguson if not across America. America must take this hands up symbol as a surrender to completely repair what ails this country. The remnants of slavery that has embedded itself socially, economically and in the judicial system
Topics in this show discuss a new idea, known as a Self-Sustained Protectorate (SSP) and how the utilization of this idea can free people worldwide from the grips of corruption that is running rampant in their communities. Discussion includes developing the gift of discernment and how to easily recognize when you are being decieved. Discussion ultimately ends on the core idea and motivation behind an SSP and provides several reasons as to why it exists as the best alternative to corrupt government.
