Jude, a bond-servant of Jesus Christ, and brother of James,
To those who are the called, beloved in God the Father, and kept for Jesus Christ: May mercy and peace and love be multiplied to you.
Beloved, while I was making every effort to write you about our common salvation, I felt the necessity to write to you appealing that you contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all handed down to the saints.
For certain persons have crept in unnoticed, those who were long beforehand marked out for this condemnation, ungodly persons who turn the grace of our God into licentiousness and deny our only Master and Lord, Jesus Christ.
Now I desire to remind you, though you know all things once for all, that the Lord, after saving a people out of the land of Egypt, subsequently destroyed those who did not believe.
And angels who did not keep their own domain, but abandoned their proper abode, He has kept in eternal bonds under darkness for the judgment of the great day, just as Sodom and Gomorrah and the cities around them, since they in the same way as these indulged in gross immorality and went after strange flesh, are exhibited as an example in undergoing the punishment of eternal fire.
Yet in the same way these men, also by dreaming, defile the flesh, and reject authority, and revile angelic majesties.
But Michael the archangel, when he disputed with the devil and argued about the body of Moses, did not dare pronounce against him a railing judgment, but said, “The Lord rebuke you!”
But these men revile the things which they do not understand; and the things which they know by instinct, like unreasoning animals, by these things they are destroyed.
Woe to them! For they have gone the way of Cain, and for pay they have rushed headlong into the error of Balaam, and perished in the rebellion of Korah.
These are the men who are hidden reefs in your love...
This episode of Saint Jude Retreats' Radio show features the topic of college students and substance use behaviors, especially as it pertains to the safety and caring support of students as they transition to the new freedoms of adult life and independence.
The radio show opens with radio host and Executive Director of Saint Jude Retreats, Michelle Dunbar, touching on the subject of what Saint Jude Retreats is and the philosophy behind it. Trending topics follow, with local and national news connected to substance use in college years. The news topics this week include a discussion of the recent release of the White House Task Force’s study to prevent sexual assault among college students. A glaring omission in the report is the lack of discussion of substance use as a contributing factor in both increased sexual assault perpetration and vulnerability to attack.
The interview with our guests follows, as Professors Pecoraro and de Roulet and Mrs. Dunbar discuss their book, The Caring Professor: A Guide to Effective, Rewarding and Rigorous Teaching and their blog and podcasts under the Student Caring Project. Professors Pecoraro and de Roulet with Dunbar discuss substance use in the college setting and how to foster safety and responsible use as well as current trends in social media with substance use “advertising” among college students.
The radio show ends with Dunbar answering questions by listeners, which this week touched on binge drinking in college and how to manage the transition from college to adult life as it relates to substance use post-graduation.
Join us on the broadcast for Sunday's message entitled: "Contend for the faith." What are you doing to contend for the faith? Whatever your answer is, we will discuss it on the broadcast. Tune in, and be blessed.

THE CAT'S BEEN AWAY! THE RATS HAVE PLAYED! HOW NOW WILL THEY DEAL WITH A LION?
Psa 2:1 WHY do the nations rage and the peoples imagine vain things? 2 It is because the KINGS of the EARTH and the RULERS conspired to take counsel together AGAINST the MOST HIGH and AGAINST HIS ANOINTED, saying, 3 Let US break their LAW asunder. Let us cast off their YOKE from upon us. (Col.2:1-8, Rev.13:9-11, 6:12-<7:2>-7:17, Isaiah 40:27-41:4>-21-42:4>-43:15) 2:4 He that sits in heaven shall laugh: YAH shall catch them in their blasphemy. 2:5 He shall rebuke them in HIS wrath to vex them in HIS sore displeasure, saying 2:6 Yet have I set MY king upon MY holy hill of Zion.
Jude 1:3 My beloved, when I wrote to you with all diligence concerning our common salvation, it was needful that I should exhort you also to contend earnestly for the Faith once delivered to the saints.
Jude 1:4 For certain men have falsely entered among you, and these were foreordained from the very beginning to this condamnation. They are UNgodly men, perverting the GRACE of YAH after their own lawlessnessES, and denying YAH as the ONLY Most High and our Lord Yeoshu the Shiloh the Kurdi.
Jud 1:5 I will, therefore, remind you, though you once knew this, that YAH, having redeemed and saved the people out of the land of Egypt, afterward destroyed those who did not believe. (Genesis 49:10)
45,000 DENOMINATIONS governed after constraints of contentious pastors, rulers and priests, all claiming they are led after the gift of the Holy Spirit. This is not only bondage under Babylon. It isindiscriminate blasphemy against the Holy One of Salvation!
