This week on the Daily Grind we talk with Events Etc. who are our small business spotlight for the week. They tell us about their event planning company and also shares with you how you benefit from their services. Youssef Kromah and Isaish Thomas stop past the studio to talk about winning the BMe Award for the Philadelphia Chapter last week and what they plan to do with the winnings. To end the show we speak with R&B sensation Jon B as he calls in with an exclusive interview with The Daily Grind. JonB begining was seasoned by such artist like Michael Jackson, Duran Duran, Prince and Babyface. JonB got the attention of Babyface dropped debut album Bonadfide and the rest is history. Jon Gillespie, a native of St. Louis, MO. Having the good fortune of working with the legendary CHUCK BERRY while still in his teens. In later years he played all across the USA doing shows with Leon Patillo (Santana), Joe English (Paul McCartney), Phil Keagy, Dan Peek (America) and many other others.
Tamika J - R&B Artist 2:15pm
Tamika J (singer/songwriter) is of African-American and Haitian descent and was born and raised in Miami, Fl. Music has played an influential role in her life since early childhood. She remembers singing in her room; her brush was her microphone and her dolls were her audience! Her love for music and performing has always been with her even at an early age. Tamika J started writing music since she was in grade school and she still writes her own music. Music has been her escape and her peace. Wanda Mo'Net - Gospel Artist 3:15pm

Jon Arnett was the multiple recipient of the WJ Voit Memorial Trophy the as the outstanding football player on the Pacific Coast. Arnett was a Heisman candidate in his Senior year and won the Voit Trophy in both 1954 and 1955. He was a charter inductee into the USC Athletic Hall of Fame in 1994 and the College Football Hall of Fame in 2001 as a member of the USC Trojans.
He was a 5 time Pro Bowler and one time All-Pro with the Los Angeles Rams the from 1957–1963 and played withthe Chicago Bears from 1964 to 1966. He was known by the popular nickname of Jaguar Jon Arnett. Recently Jon was honored by induction into the Gridiron Greats Hall of Fame.

Kylelashay Draper was born in Fresno California on November 9th 1992. She developed a passion for writing & singing early on in life, beginning to write songs at age eight & going on to write poetry and short stories around age Nine & Ten. Noel Gourdin - R&B 2:15pm
Soul and R&B singer Noel Gourdin (Gor-Deen) emerged on the music scene with his number one hit song “The River” which stayed on the Urban AC charts at number one for 15 weeks! Noel’s childhood was not a traditional one; he was born in Brockton, MA but spent his summers with family Pachuta, Mississippi. The result is a man who is city to the heart but southern to the soul! Noel scored a deal with Sony Music at age 24, his first exposure to the vocal arts came in church and he was introduced to the larger audience of soul music by his father (who introduced him to the classics, such as Otis Redding) and his brother (who turned him on to the sounds of new jack swing). Noel is influenced by classic soul as well as the contemporary sounds of R&B and hip-hop. Making his music is a seamless blend of each genre.
