Part 2: Close-Up Talk Radio spotlights John Quagliani
Downey, CA – John Quagliani does not know how to take no for an answer.
Fifteen years ago, Quagliani found himself unemployed for the first time in his life. With no savings to speak of, his credit cards maxed out, Quagliani made a fairly brazen decision given his predicament: he would start his own company finding jobs for other people.
“I had zero knowledge of the industry,” recalls Quagliani. “But I learned some things about myself: I enjoy motivating people and I hate to lose. That’s the kind of person you want on your side when you’re looking for a job.”
Today, Quagliani’s company Buzy Bodies (http://www.jobsannex.com) specializes in helping minorities find gainful employment by collaborating with employers to meet their human resource needs more efficiently. Buzy Bodies’ value-added services allow employers to concentrate on what’s truly important: the business of their business.
“Human resources are a company’s most valuable asset,” says Quagliani. “The majority of companies are very good at what they do but they fall short when it comes to human resources. We are your off-site human resource connection.”
When it comes to searching for employment, says Quagliani, you need to make finding a job your full time job. While the Internet has made looking for job openings easier, Buzy Bodies still encourages applicants to take an aggressive approach to separate themselves from their competition.
“The most qualified person for the job does not get the job,” explains Quagliani. “The person who gets the job is the person they like. So as a job seeker, you need to keep a lot of balls bouncing. Most people are not going to take the aggressive approach, but it really works.”

John Idzik Discussed JetNation Radio
Your host Dennis Agapito and Tyson Rauch welcome the Jets faithful to another episode of JetNation Radio and of course your opinions on “Gang-Green” will be heard (646) 716-4697:
This week we’ll be talking about general manager John Idzik’s approach as he leads the team into free agency and his handling of the anti-Jets media. Who’s been signed/not resigned and the impact of these moves on the team and head coach Rex Ryan.
The Jets announced they are keeping ticket prices the same, even lowering the cost of some seats. Could the Jets actually end up with local television “blackouts” this season? The possibility will be discussed.
The NFL owners meetings are taking place and Woody Johnson has spoken about the Darrelle Revis situation. Coach Ryan gave his take on Revis and Tim Tebow along with the impending “quarterbacks competition” in an NFL Network interview. Dennis and Tyson will review what was said and take phone calls from “The Nation” of Jets fans.
