Meet Jill Zupon, Founder of The Attention Center
Jill Zupon, a long-time Cleveland resident, was challenged by the difficulties of finding effective care for her son who struggled with Attention Deficit Disorder (ADD/ADHD). Jill vowed to someday create and make available a facility in which one could find comprehensive and cohesive medical, educational and nutritional care for individuals with ADHD in a single facility.
Her promise to herself, her family and the community came true in 2011 with the opening of The Attention Center of which Jill is the Owner/Director. The Attention Center is a medical center that can diagnose, treat and help manage the symptoms of ADHD.
Jill Zupon attended Kent State University and Cleveland State University as she pursued a degree in nursing. However, she ultimately chose a different path.
Over the years Jill has been an active volunteer in her community. She served on the Peaceful Schools Committee in the Chagrin Falls School District. Jill also spent ten years with the Geauga County Sherriff’s Department, where she helped develop a program to counsel female inmates and help them construct a plan for change upon their release. Later, Jill helped found the Geauga County Habitat for Humanity’s Youth United program; an outreach group for children, where she coordinated fundraising with area schools and acquired both corporate and private donors.
Jill is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Community Service award presented by the Geauga County Sherriff’s Department. Recently Jill was honored to be selected to give a TED Talk® about her journey with her son and creating The Attention Center
