SORT BY Relevancy
Maybe the biggest election in our lives will be coming up in the next year. Both sides seam to be dug in. It's probably a great to think, is Jesus a republican or a democrat. Is Jesus for us half the time, and the other half we just have to be about "our own business"( or business is business we hear a lot)
I can separate something in a lot of way, separation of Church and state would intially make me think that you would take a sheet of paper and draw a line down the middle. One side against another. I think our constitution proves that the Providential care and direction of God had our leaders set this thing about with a line drawn across the top of the paper( horizontal) suggesting one was over the other... Jesus did make a few exceptions. Let's see
in The Bible
Our vision should be the same as Father and the Son
John 7:16 Jesus answered them, and said, My doctrine is not mine, but his that sent me.Our vision should be the same as Father and the Son
Proverbs 29:18 Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.
John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
John 5:24 Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto lif
Mark 16:15-16 And he said unto them, Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature.16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that believeth not shall be damned.
Matthew 28:19-20 Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
Our vision should be the same as Father and the Son
Mark 1:22 And they were astonished at his doctrine: for he taught them as one that had authority, and not as the scribes.
Proverbs 4:2 For I give you good doctrine, forsake ye not my law.
Matthew 15:9 But in vain they do worship me, teaching for doctrines the commandments of men.
Judges Chapter 15 King James Version.

["On Demand" pre-recording: archived show. Do not call in.] What would possess someone, raised in a faith alien to Christianity to publically change his/her faith and risk the scorn and persecution from their former co-religionists? Money? Social standing? Certainly there've been cases like that. Benjamin Disraeli would never have become prime minister of Britain if his father Isaac had remained a Jew. In old Europe Jews would sometimes convert and join the state church to take advantage of financial and social benefits in wider society. And they did this even though it meant scandalizing family and friends and cutting the ties that bind. In recent months, certain high-profile Muslim converts to New Testament faith have been well-publicized and were done at great personal risk. This Thursday we discuss this higher motive for conversion: the motive of personal conviction without consideration of any worldly gain. Your host: Rev. Rick Anderson on "Jewish Roots", an Internet radio talk show at www.blogtalkradio.com/fougcrew . (This show is pre-recorded.)
This is the day that the Lord has made and I want to rejoice. Thank you Jesu for dying on the cross for me! You are so wonderful to me!!!
