This note is all about technical compatibility between your computers and the Blog Talk Radio Network. I have been told, by people at Blog Talk, that Internet Explorer is not the way to go in seeking out the network. Yes, some people, including me, have used it, successfully. However, on average, it doesn’t work. I have been advised to tell listeners to use Google Chrome, or Firefox. If you use Firefox, make sure your Flash Player is up-to-date. Go to Adobe.com to update your Flash Player. I’m just repeating what I am told. I am certainly not an expert………(1) Put the following in the search engine: blogtalkradio.com/rwsimpson4 (2) Look for “Upcoming Broadcasts.” (3) Under those words look for “The Rich Simpson Show (hyperlinked in light blue letters). When I first started my blog, a friend had me listen to this teenage youtube star with a very grown voice. Not only was her voice grown but her swag was that of a grown adult. Although very humble, she had the confidence of a singer who was meant to be a star. Well a few years later, #2 on American Idol and a deal with Interscope. Jessica Sanchez has come a long way. This young lady is such an easy sell, lets hope Interscope has the forsight just to let her grow into her stardom and truly understand her market audience (12-25 females). Tonight we spotlinght her performing "Tonight" ft Neyp, "Dance With My Father Again" and a cover of he hit "Problems". Call in at (347) 826-7743.
It was June 17, 1994 when O.J. Simpson was the focus of a slow chase across Los Angeles.
Do you remember where you were and what you thought as he surrendered.
We'll listen to recently discovered broadcasts from the night when Simpson surrendered in the driveway of his home.
O.J. Simpson was found not guilty of the murders of Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman in 1995. The investigation and trial lasted more than a year and included a number of incredible moments.
The world was introduced to this erotic poet thru HBO's "Real Sex" series; a racy, informative show about all things sexual, erotic, romantic, freaky. It was thru this show that I learned more about erotic poetry and that it is a most romantic tool for intimate communication between lovers.
Jessica Holter began her journey into the world of erotic Spoken Word art in 1995 as the Founder and Organizer of the infamous Punany Poets. Made up of a beautiful, ever changing array of tall, short, thin, thick, fair, and extra mocha cast, The Punany Poets take you on a journey that is funny, sexy, informative, romantic, and naughty. It is a total Mindgasm of Sight, Touch, Sound, Words, Dance, Art, and Erotica.
But Jessica is far more than just an "erotic poet". She is quite prolific in Spoken Word and is both an Author and Activist. With her art stemming from a history of sexual abuse, Jessica has turned her pain into one of the most alluring yet informative sessions one can ever go to and learn about sex - and Safe Sex. As an advocate for this, she is supported by a host of organizations including the YWCA who attend her shows and hand out information about safe sex, answer questions, give prizes based on what you remember about the education of the show and more.
I am honored to sit down with this woman and hear her story: one that has now been the subject of dissertations on the collegiate level. But make no mistake, this is a GROWN, Black, No Sugar, No Cream Show.
And yes, we will have something cooking up!
