Jeremy Breslau, writer and director of "1982," earned his MFA in screenwriting from USC. While there, in addition to writing and directing award-winning shorts, his screenplay, "Plague Season," was a semi-finalist in the Nicholl Competition. Based on his Nicholl script, Fox Searchlight signed Jeremy to a first-look deal and produced his next short, after which he created a successful web series for MTV’s AtomFilms. Currently, Jeremy is developing two features that will utilize the talents of the team behind "1982."
"1982' features a blocked novelist who reflects on a pivotal year in his life, when, as a precocious six-year-old, he struggled for the attention of his bickering parents.

I know some of you are thinking "Cynthia is interviewing what type of Rap Artist"? Yes I'm interviewing a Christian Rap artist. Many of you know that I'm not a church girl and I'm just not into Religions. However, if you have seen enough of my posts, you'll know that I'm into people. You'll know that I'm into young people especially.
Although I'm 45 years old, I feel brand new. I feel like a kid again that has been born again into a brand new virtual world with a bunch of cool people. One of those cool people is Jeremy. I met Jeremy at a Meet & Greet at a Coffee House this past October. I felt his spirit immediately.
After friending Jeremy on facebook, I began to see the nature of his posts. In my opinion, he is more spiritual than religious. Plus, he was working on some cool projects, writing music and creating music videos about his faith. Hey, I'm not a Church Girl by any means, but I was not going to let that blind me from seeing this Dude's light!
Let's have a conversation with Jeremy about being a Christian Rap artist and the Son of a Preacher Man.
