We also have guest Andrew Brown of Blue mountain Cider company drinkcider.com discussing their award winning ciders.
The show first broadcasts Saturday, Sept. 13th 2014 at 1:30 pm EDT.

Ned Schmidt is back and you won't be surprised to find out that he's not bullish on Apple and the Stock Market. He thinks the bull has run its course and now it's back to commodities and metals. While the bumper corn harvest is driving prices down now, wait till next year when farmers refuse to plant corn. And silver is like a coiled spring, just getting ready to take off.
“I am the rose of Sharon, The lily of the valleys.” “Like a lily among the thorns, So is my darling among the maidens.” “Like an apple tree among the trees of the forest, So is my beloved among the young men. In his shade I took great delight and sat down, And his fruit was sweet to my taste.
“He has brought me to his banquet hall, And his banner over me is love. “Sustain me with raisin cakes, Refresh me with apples, Because I am lovesick. “Let his left hand be under my head And his right hand embrace me.” “I adjure you, O daughters of Jerusalem, By the gazelles or by the hinds of the field, That you do not arouse or awaken my love Until she pleases.”
“Listen! My beloved! Behold, he is coming, Climbing on the mountains, Leaping on the hills! “My beloved is like a gazelle or a young stag. Behold, he is standing behind our wall, He is looking through the windows, He is peering through the lattice. “My beloved responded and said to me, ‘Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, And come along. ‘For behold, the winter is past, The rain is over and gone.
‘The flowers have already appeared in the land; The time has arrived for pruning the vines, And the voice of the turtledove has been heard in our land. ‘The fig tree has ripened its figs, And the vines in blossom have given forth their fragrance. Arise, my darling, my beautiful one, And come along!’”
“O my dove, in the clefts of the rock, In the secret place of the steep pathway, Let me see your form, Let me hear your voice; For your voice is sweet, And your form is lovely.” “Catch the foxes for us, The little foxes that are ruining the vineyards, While our vineyards are in blossom.”
“My beloved is mine, and I am his; He pastures his flock among the lilies. “Until the cool of the day when the shadows...
Welcome to the Seriouside of the jril show. We will be discussing the following topics:
SEGMENT 1: NOT SO FAST REPUBLICANS
This past week, a Texas Judge shot down voter ID saying that the law discriminates against African Americans. What next Republican?
SEGMENT 2: THE LEGACY OF ERIC HOLDER
Two weeks ago, Eric Holder resigned from his position the Attorney General? What will be his lasting legacy?
SEGMENT 3: ANOTHER SHOOTING OF A (UNARMED?) BLACK TEEN
A white police officer working a second job as a security shot and killed an 18 year male who he claimed had a weapon and shot at him at least 3 times. There are some who are comparing this shooting to the shooting Mike Brown. Are we comparing apples to apples?
Say "fall" and "food" and the first things I think of are apples and squash- two foods that are most certainly in the arsenal of ingredients that help you to stay trim when the weather turns cool. Tune in on 10/8 at noon E to find out why I love these slimming fall foods plus a few more you should be eating this season.
Holistic healing simply means that you must nourish, detox, rest, and meditate in order for the human body to live. Eating processed, fast foods, fried & overcooked foods, devitalized starches, sugar & excessive amounts of salt, your colon cannot possibly survive efficiently. Consuming foods high in fiber with life-giving properties such as: cooked beans, dates, figs, whole grains, apples, bananas, black berries, blue berries, cherries, brussel sprouts, carrots, grapefruits and salads that have green leafy vegetables are a great source of fiber enriched nutrients.
Let's talk about carbohydrates one of the major foods that are destroying the human body. These foods may include, but or not limited to: breads, bagels, rice, pasta, potatoe, ice cream, chocolate, pie, cookies, crackers, cake, danish, fruit, fruit juice, potatoe chips, pretzels, & popcorn. I think using moderation and portion sizes are of great significance for those seeking more of a transitional diet which will be covered in an upcoming show.
Foods we often crave, or find oursleves addicted have been mentioned above. Now let's name some that are beneficial to our health tune into the show and find out what they are.
