SORT BY Relevancy
When talk began in earnest about a Jeb Bush presidential candidacy for 2016, former First Lady Barbara Bush was noticeably cool about the idea. Alas, she eventually changed her mind. But as veteran test takers know, it is usually wise to trust your first instinct when deciding a question.
Tonight we will examine the myriad weaknesses of another Bush run at the White House. A spotty electoral record, weakness in coalition building, the lingering suspicion about the Bush penchant for international adventurism, a closed and inbred circle of political advisors, an often tone-deaf approach to communications and identity politics, a detached bubble of family affluence- all of these translate into a damaged political brand that would be very problematic in a presidential race.
The Bushes are a distiguished political family with a commendable record of public service. But the times are not suited for yet another President Bush. The Republican goal for this election should be to win the White House, not provide a comfortable security blanket for the GOP establishment.
Today we will discuss how Jeb Bush cannot help channeling his brother George W Bush’s failed narrative, propensity to lie, and policies. Can he be so naive to believe that can get him elected?
The following Jeb Bush statement echos his brother more succinctly and is much more inconspicuously dangerous. “If sanctions are imposed by the United States then other countries would have the choice. Will they look at Iran as a business proposition?” Jeb Bush asked. “Perhaps jeopardizing their relationship both commercial and political and diplomatic with the United States? I think that choice would be pretty clear for some countries, maybe not Russia and China to your point. But certainly other countries would have to deeply consider whose side they are on.”
Is he channeling George W Bush? Is that not the same as ‘You are either with is or against us‘? Jeb Bush would be George W Bush’s third term.
What do you think. Let's talk about it.

Merry Christmas and Happy Hanukkah!
Like many of you, our family was blessed with the opportunity to gather together over the recent Thanksgiving holiday.Columba and I are so proud of the wonderful adults our children have become, and we loved spending time with our three precious grandchildren.
We shared good food and watched a whole lot of football.
We also talked about the future of our nation. As a result of these conversations and thoughtful consideration of the kind of strong leadership I think America needs, I have decided to actively explore the possibility of running for President of the United States.
In January, I also plan to establish a Leadership PAC that will help me facilitate conversations with citizens across America to discuss the most critical challenges facing our exceptional nation. The PAC’s purpose will be to support leaders, ideas and policies that will expand opportunity and prosperity for all Americans.
In the coming months, I hope to visit with many of you and have a conversation about restoring the promise of America.
Best wishes to you and your families for a happy holiday season. I’ll be in touch soon.

Join me "In the Pickle Barrel" as we begin a detailed look at what I consider to be the advantages, disadvantages and the "ball & chains" attached to each candidate seeking the White House. Jeb Bush was the winner of today's drawing. Many feel Jeb Bush to be the one to ultimately face (presumably) Hillary Clinton in the 2016 General Election. Maybe, maybe not.
Join in the conversation on today's modified time (one hour instead of two) by entering the online chat room or feel free to call in and share your views live, on air at 855-236-2486.
I WAS IMPRESSED BY HIS INTRO. HE WILL BE THE THIRD BUSH PRESIDENT. BETWEEN THE THREE OF THEM THEY CAN'T MATCH HILLARY'S BRIBE MONEY. IN SPITE OF BIG BUSH BRINGING HOME A PLANE LOAD OF PRESENTS FROM KUWAIT.HE WENT WITH ONE PLANE AND CAME BACK WITH TWO.. BUT IT DOES NOT COMPARE TO THE BRIBE MONEY IN THE CLINTON LIE BERRY. WAIT TILL YOU SEE THE LOAD OBAMA LEAVES WITH. YOU KNOW COMMUNIST IMAMS GET 20% OF ALL BOOTY TAKEN IN JIHAD. THAT DOESNT COUNT OBAMACARE LOOT AND INSIDER TRAITORING COMMISSIONS.
A FEW THINGS JEB HAS IN HIS FAVOR. A BIG ONE IS THE RIANCE PREBUS GOP WAR CHEST. ANOTHER BIG ONE IS HE WILL PULL A BIG LATINO VOTE. IF THEY COME TO VOTE THIS TIME THEY COME TO STAY. YOU WILL KNOW IT WHEN THE DEMOCRATS AND COMMUNIST NBC TROT OUT AL SHARPTON WEARING A SOMBRERO SAYING WORDS LIKE AMIGO AND BOYCOTT THE SUPER MERCADO. KILL THE FEDERALES. I FOR ONE WOYULD LIKE TO SEE ALL LATINOS EXCEPT LA RAZA VAMOS LE PARTIE DE LA MUERTE AND JOIN THE FAMILY OF TE FIESTA. THE TEA PARTY.
Are we out of original ideas?
Bush asks: “Do I have the skills to do it in a way that tries to lift people’s spirits and not get sucked into the vortex?” No. But, the waves of the Bushes and the Clintons are coming as 2016 nears.
Former Florida Governor Jeb Bush said he is thinking of running for president in 2016 and will make a decision sometime in the “near future”.
We’ll discuss Jeb with Nicholas Ballasy, a video journalist based in Washington, DC and a contributor to PJ Media.
