Hi listeners and welcome to another edition of Weekdays with Murph. I'm more excited for today's show than I probably have ever been, because we've got somebody on the show today that me and Em both consider a very dear friend. We're talking about the lovely, talented, incredibly sweet Miss Karianne Jean. We'll, as usual, talk with Karianne about her new music, and just generally try not to make complete fools of ourselves, which we'll probably end up doing anyway. It's always so much fun having Karianne on the show, and having met her in person, I can honestly say there's never a dull moment. Anyway, let the madness commence!
Host Lori Hays is excited to bring you a conversation with the talented author Jami Brumfield!
Jami M Brumfield has a passion for the paranormal, supernatural, and mythological worlds for most of her life. She believes there is a kernel of truth in every story and loves playing detective to discover what that hidden truth is. She has written most of her life. She started with poems and short stories, then graduated to journalism working for online websites like examiner.com. It was only a natural progression that her love of writing and her passion for the unknown would combine. Lone Wolf Rising the first book of the Winters series is the product of that union.
Book two in the Winters Saga was released in April of 2014.
By day Jami works with hypnotherapy and coaching clients and her nights she focuses on creating new urban fantasy and paranormal romantic thrill rides for your enjoyment.
Tune in to the Monday, June 15, Literary New England Radio Show for an hour of lively conversations with three diverse authors about three unforgettable books! Hosted by Cindy Wolfe Boynton, the episode features:
Sy Montgomery on The Soul of an Octopus: A Surprising Exploration into the Wonder of Consciousness. This touching, entertaining and profound memoir explores the emotional and physical world of the octopus, and the remarkable connections it's able to make with humans.
Jean Zimmerman on Savage Girl. Recently released in paperback, it's the story of a wealthy and outlandish Manhattan couple who adopt a girl purportedly raised by wolves with the goal of civilizing and introducing her into the high society of the Gilded Age.
Charles Dubow on Girl in the Moonlight. A scorching tale on countless summer recommended reading lists about one man’s all-consuming desire for a beautiful, bewitching and beguiling woman.

Have you ever been thumbed so badly that you actually didn't get thumbed at all and Sergey Kovalev just knocked you out? That's what happened to Nadjib Mohammedi on HBO last weekend. But Jean Pascal winning a fun, albeit dubious decision over previously unbeaten Cuban Yunieski Gonzalez made up for it in terms of entertainment. That unanimous decision, though...
The real action, as everyone knows, will be on ESPN this Saturday. In the main event, Danny Garcia faces Paulie Malignaggi in his first official fight at welterweight. Courtesy of Premier Boxing Champions, of course. In the co-feature, Daniel Jacobs squares off against Sergio Mora -- yeah, the guy from The Contender -- for a belt and whatnot.
There were also fights in London that involved Billy Joe Saunders, Dereck Chisora and Frank Buglioni. Likely far more important was the signing of Gennady Golovkin vs David Lemieux, which might not be what everyone wants, but should be explosive anyway. Don't forget possible Floyd Mayweather vs Andre Berto news, possible Miguel Cotto vs Saul Alvarez news, and more.
And this week on Top Men Boxing Radio, Mike Baca of UCNlive joins the usual team of James Foley from Bad Left Hook, and The Fight City's Patrick Connor.
Thanks for tuning in!
