On this evening's broadcast, we want to take a proactive approach to SUICIDE AND DEPRESSION. We want to go over some of the warning signs, but this evening, we will take time out to PRAY for those who are CONTEMPLATING suicide and for those who are dealing with DEPRESSION.
THIS IS NOT SOMETHING I AM TAKING LIGHTLY. MAY ARE DEPRESSED AND SUICIDAL FOR A MULTITUDE OF REASONS, BUT WE MUST PRAY.......YES, PRAY.....PRAY......PRAY
Benjamin IamHealed Toland
The spirit of depression is like an emotional cloak of hopelessness fueled by real and/or perceived factors. Without hope for tomorrow, one can be driven to almost anything; from reckless behavior/decisions to suicide. Often there are no external symptoms so it may be that friend, family-member or coworker you see every day that's suffering. Pray for and care for one another. Your words of concern or lack thereof could mean the difference between giving up and pressing on! I know from personal experience that a small word of concern can be a piercing ray of sunshine through dark times. Smiles, like beauty, may only be skin deep. So be liberal in your distribution of healing words!

"SUICIDE: Dont Do It God Loves You!"
Some people in Scripture felt deep despair in life. Solomon, in his pursuit of pleasure, reached the point where he “hated life” (Ecclesiastes 2:17). Elijah was fearful and depressed and yearned for death (1 Kings 19:4). Jonah was so angry at God that he wished to die (Jonah 4:8). Even the apostle Paul and his missionary companions at one point “were under great pressure, far beyond our ability to endure, so that we despaired of life itself” (2 Corinthians 1:8).
However, none of these men committed suicide. Suicide definitely has a deep and lasting impact on those left behind and the painful scars left by a suicide do not heal easily.
Join PercyMae and special guest Minister Andre Bean (Simply Dre) as they discuss this very sensitive topic.
