At age 20, Paul Nison was diagnosed with inflammatory bowel disease (also know as Crohn’s disease and ulcerative colitis), a deadly affliction.
His search for a cure began with medical doctors, but they didn’t have the answers he needed. After trying almost every so-called cure to overcome his pain and suffering, Paul finally discovered the benefits of eating more simply. He started by getting rid of foods that were no good for him.
Simplifying his diet was the first step in his cure.

Paul Dale Roberts
Paul Dale Roberts served in the US Army from 1973 to 1976 working with C.I.D. (Criminal Investigation Division), D.S.T. (Drug Suppression Team). From 1979 to 1986 he re-enlisted in the US Army, but this time with Military Intelligence as an Intelligence Analyst with the Photo Interpretation Center in Seoul, Korea. Later Paul became an OPFOR (Opposing Forces) Soviet Threat Instructor teaching elite troops like the Navy Seals, Army`s Special Forces, Army`s Airborne Rangers, Delta Force, 101st Airborne, 82nd 'Screaming Eagles' Airborne, Air Force Special Operations, Marine Recon on how to use a variety of Soviet made weapons. Paul has always been a freelance writer and has written travel articles, comic book reviews, paranormal stories on ghosts and UFOs. In fact Paul recently has been a guest on the X-Zone, a Canadian paranormal radio show discussing the connection between Military Intelligence and UFOs. The Cherokee Elders Council (website) was founded by Paul Thomas in Pryor, Oklahoma on July 9, 1996.
Paul Thomas was a larger-than-life person.
A military veteran, he dedicated his career to Law Enforcement, and after retirement he organized and ran a rehabilitation program for ex-offenders.
A tribal historian, he was also a "true gentleman." He was in the melee at the Cherokee Nation courthouse... photos exist of him swinging his cane during the riot incited by Chief Joe Byrd's goons.
He passed away Sept. 21 2006 of natural causes. He was 87.
He was a man with the gift of Charity.
When Blueotter's family was in transit from a Cherokee Gathering at Wilson's Creek Battlefield, they heard of the disaster while Passing through Pryor, OK, Paul's hometown. Paul and his wife took them in the middle of the night in the aftermath the F6 tornado in Oklahoma City in 1998.
