Jacqueline Nwobu has a simple message for couples planning their honeymoon: forget the Carribbean. “We have a feature on our website called The Pearls of Africa that we started after our research showed a wealth of great honeymoon destinations there,” the Munaluchi Bridal magazine editor tells Nightly Candy Chat host Nana-Adwoa Ofori. “Now we’re out to change the perception of Africa, so when people think of the continent, they don’t automatically associate it with poverty and suffering. We want them to realize there’s surfing and blue water and beaches and skydiving. Any activity you can think of can be done over there.”
Jacqueline Biggs is an international best selling author and marketing expert with fourteen years experience. For ten of these, Jacqueline worked with a number of FTSE 100 brands including Intel, Scottish and Newcastle, GlaxoSmithKline, Reckitt Benckiser, Procter & Gamble and Kellogg's whilst at Euro RSCG and M&C Saatchi advertising agencies in Sydney, New York and London.
Her latest book is out March 20th, it’s called Marketing to Win – How small businesses can do more with less, and offers toolsets, tips and step by step actions to help you to get the most out of your marketing budget. This book will save you time, money and effort.
In 2009, Jacqueline launched Blue Lemons www.blue-lemons.com, a results focused marketing agency for start-ups and small to medium sized businesses. Jacqueline realised that all the tips and strategies she had learned and created for corporate brands could be applied to start-ups and small companies and generate extraordinary results on very small budgets.
Consider it a shortcut that will help you to avoid the costly mistakes that are an unfortunate rite of passage for most start-ups and small business owners with little or no marketing experience.

This week, Tahnee chatted with the charismatic, highly conscious Spoken Word Poet Marc Marcel, in Baltimore, USA.
Marc shared his journey from being a dyslexic, questioning child to becoming a cutting edge poet philosopher.
He shared how even our passion can enslave us, and encouraged us to enjoy our lives, rather than getting too wrapped up in our work.
He explained how everything is just a story and when we awaken to see beyond the story, everything changes.
He performed one of his poems - a beautiful rallying cry to BEING YOU. Very inspiring!
