Cosmic Truth - Janine Regan-Sinclair interviews Noelle Meade-Izzi

    in Spirituality

Noelle Meade-Izzi (The Pollinator Queen) is an entrepreneur, philanthropist, author, speaker, award-winning graphic designer and renowned Natu-journalist. Her passion for nature and wildlife photography stems from her research and study of the wisdom of the animal world, animal symbolism and animal totems.

Her book, The Hummingbird That Answered My Heart’s Calling, is a testament to the power of nature and its ability to teach, heal, and re-connect humans to their true human nature.  This gift book is filled with over 40 full-color photographs and a custom designed book cover and interior pages. But Noelle’s commitment to nature goes well beyond her work as a journalist. She is leading a crusade to recognize and protect the four POWER POLLINATORS ---bees, birds, butterflies and bats.  As the Pollinator Queen, she is a special advocate for the pollinators, offering advice on how to build a hummingbird-friendly backyard habitant, ways to “give back” to the bee nation, methods for protecting and supporting these essential creatures that are critical to our food chain.

Noelle’s immediate focus is the bee population which has been decimated by a mysterious die-off not fully identified by scientists.  Her goal is to help people see bees for the valued partners they are: amazing creatures working tirelessly for the greater good. She unceasingly works to educate as many adults and children as possible, using her company, Beenevolent® as a tool for funding more research.

    Noelle Meade-Izzi

    in Spirituality

Our guest today is Noelle Meade-Izzi.

Noelle M. Meade-Izzi is "The Pollinator Queen." Her utter delight and passion for bees, birds, butterflies and bats makes her their leading advocate at a time when mysterious declining hive census, diminishing habitat and various other threats loom large on the horizon. And when our way of living is endangered because these pollinators are essential to our food chain, we face a global natural crisis.

But for Noelle, the crisis is more than a natural one--it's spiritual. Because she maintains it is nature that uplifts us by embracing us with its beauty and bounty. It's a way for the Universe to reassure us when we find ourselves overwhelmed; it reminds of us of goodness and our connection to all things.

With the most pressing need being the preservation of the bee population which has been decimated by a mysterious die-off not fully identified by scientists, Noelle's goal is to help people see bees for the valued partners they are: harmonious, integrated, unified creatures working tirelessly for the greater good. She unceasingly works to educate as many adults and children as possible, using her company, Beenevolent®as a tool for funding more research; to serve and give back.

    Noelle M. Meade-Izzi: Spiritual Pollination

    in Self Help

Noelle M. Meade-Izzi’s utter delight and passion for bees, birds, butterflies and bats makes her their leading advocate at a time when mysterious declining hive census, diminishing habitat and various other threats are looming large on the horizon, leaving us facing a global natural crisis. For Noelle, the crisis is also spiritual. She sees how nature uplifts and embraces us with its beauty; it reminds of us of goodness and our connection to all things. In her book, The Hummingbird That Answered My Heart's Calling, Noelle recounts her own story of her three-month sojourn with a mother hummingbird, Artemis, and one tiny nestling --and how that encounter brought her back from the brink of despair. Noelle found herself awash in fear and anxiety, facing the option of taking recommended anti-anxiety drugs. But it was Artemis that provided the inspiring encounter that began Noelle's journey of discovery and healing. Her bookis a paean to the loveliness and goodness that pervades the natural world, and the conduit to our own spiritual nature that we can experience through this intimate connection. bee-nevolent.com

Noelle Meade-Izzi - "The Pollinator Queen Shares Her Way of Bee-ing"

    in Spirituality

This month, Suzane welcomes special guest, Noelle Meade-Izzi.

Noelle Meade-Izzi is a self-proclaimed Natu-journalist. She defines "natu-journalism" as a form of nature photography combined with journalistic style to create imagery through both photos and colorful text to tell engaging stories about nature.

Natu-journalism is similar to photojournalism in that both strive for timeliness, objectivity, and include a narrative to connect the viewer or reader at a cultural level. However, photojournalism does not perfectly define Noelle's body of work. The "Golden Age of Photojournalism" is considered to be roughly the 1930s through the 1970s. Often, photojournalists used their black and white photography, more than text, to tell stories of the pivotal moments in war. On the contrary, Noelle captures contemporary, visual reality with her camera and combines wildlife anecdotes and facts to encourage every person's potential to connect with and preserve nature.

Noelle also endeavors to discover the extraordinary within the ordinary - right in our own backyards. Her passion for nature and wildlife photography stems from her research and study of the wisdom of the animal world, animal symbolism and animal totems. Her book, The Hummingbird That Answered My Heart's Calling, is a testament to the power of nature and its ability to teach, heal, and re-connect humans to their true human nature.

In addition, Noelle is a Graphic Designer for the marketing and advertising industries. Her work has been recognized by the American Advertising Federation’s (AAF) prestigious Addy Creative Awards for design excellence, with her highest award being "Best in Show".
