On today's show I discuss the continuing nature of the struggle between the world's global powers, America, Russia and China. I've been discussing these facts for weeks now and that my analyses have been echoed by major news outlets and political leaders. The hallmark but not the only criteria of a global power is their ability to have a manned space program. America, although not presently and not for some years now, Russia and China are all; therefore "Global Powers" and that along with other conditions you will not hear about in other outlets are the reasons and the direction behind the recent aggressiveness of Russian and China. Then, on the show I read an insightful article from the Manhattan Declaration discussing the nature of the discourse regarding homosexual "marriage" and the fact that Christianity's opposition to it is not based in bigotry but in the desire to adhere to God's plan for life and is not likely to change. Lastly, there are two articles regarding Mexico that I shared. One deals with the sad conditions but remarkable performance on intelligence exams of a poor girl in Matamoros. And Mattel tries again with a Barbie doll that represent Mexican culture with a Barbie in mariachi attire and I like it.
Topic and discussion includes Pagan news items, dates of interest, and after the break we'll offer mini-readings about what's upcoming in your life that you need to pay attention to and/or address now. There is something magical about a cup of Tea.” At least that’s what Starbuck’s says. Tea has been declared the IN drink for 2014. In the rest of the world, tea has been the drink of choice since 2737 BC when first discovered by the emperor of China. The history of tea is interesting and we will touch on it. Even more interesting is how many kinds are made from one plant, plus, learning about all the choices we now have be it black tea or herb, fruit and even some made from vegetables. Our guest, Rona Tison, from ITO EN, knows teas. She’ll clue us in on its medicinal benefits and even introduce you to Matcha tea. Of course, we will spend time talking about the best ways to prepare and enjoy tea during the winter, spring, summer and fall – recipes!
