Where do messages come from and are they always an original thought? Most likely not, according to those who subscribe to the “Original Thought Theory” which suggests that anything anyone can ever think of has already been thought by someone else or will be done so by someone in the future, i.e. no thought is original.
That being said, “messages” could be formed through experiences and ideas and the culmination of something that could be marketable, such as a book, a song, or a piece of art; an expression of one’s thoughts.
Through these avenues the message travels, but how far can it possibly go? Some may sit on their thoughts and messages, keeping to themselves, others wish to share them with the world. There are all types of messengers, whether teachers in academia, religious leaders, or perhaps, a someone willing to break out of what’s been normal for them and seek another path to share their ideas.
Many become famous because of the sharing process, but what sets them apart? The audience!
People are educated and entertained in a variety of ways, and learning is not often something brought to the doorstep, but something that is sought after by the individual. Whether in a theater, book store, or college campus, the venues for learning are immense.
Your message won’t change, but your audience will!

STEP INTO IT AND LIVE IT ON THE INNER PLANES.
Addiction is a very big word, and in terms of self-sabatoge it can run the gamut of everything that we chatted about in the previous show, Part I of Thy Shall Remain Disciplined. (Listen to the podcast).
From over-eating to severe drug abuse, one element in common is the threshold of danger, danger that can damage any parts of the mind, body and the spirit.
During the holiday seasons, we have a tendency to minimize that danger for a few fleeting moments of perceived holiday fun and sometimes get ahead of ourselves and our loose internal control over these destructive habits.
We start by bargaining with that inner voice, “Hey it’s the holiday season, just for now, I will indulge and get myself back on track after the first of the year.”
We let our guard down and that may have lasting consequences continuing way past the holiday season.
The featured guest on Change Already! with Jillian is Dr. Dalal Akoury from AWAREmed Health and Wellness Resource Center who is back to discuss the holiday season and addictions.

There are some things in life that will NEVER EVER change because it is just simply a part of "life's cycle"; and as long as people and this world exist certain things just won't change, so get over it already. Some people make themselves miserable, bitter, grouchy, grumpy and unhappy trying to control things they have no rights nor power to control like interracial marriages, the race / nationality of others nor women dating younger men. How pathetic must a person be to try to control those sorts of life cycles? Listen-in & call-in to share some of the things you feel people show just "get over it, already". Thank you for your support!

What does it take to become a spiritual activist, a warrior in world of chaos?
Andrew Harvey is a leader at the forefront of a movement of action among those who identify with the teaching of a more mystical approach to traditional religion.
Living within a culture that is seeking calm within disorder, Harvey espouses that although there are those who have become more tuned in and awakened consciously, they have not truly touched with the demanding issues facing our world. He calls upon these “awakened” souls to DARE to wake up, DARE to be courageous, and DARE to discover the divine energy for change, action, and life, instead of being “bliss bunnies,” meditating and seeking a divine discovery only on a personal level.
