Quick Take Ohio: Generating Enthusiasm for Juvenile Law

    in Legal

Many law students do not realize how broad juvenile law is and the wide array of practice areas it can encompass. It is not a traditional bar exam class, therefore students either elect to take a class that piqued their interest or they stumble upon it in their careers. Judge Anthony Capizzi joins this Quick Take Ohio to discuss how the Ohio State Bar Association's Juvenile Law Committee is visiting law schools in Ohio and connecting future attorneys to the field and updating them on critical issues facing youth and families.

The New Essenes: "Rediscovering the Fire..." - Pages 13 & 14

    in Spirituality

The New Essenes is a gathering of ordinary people practicing deep introspection as a way to solve everyday problems. Our inquiry is based on the idea that the Word is alive and that the Language is where our Power lives: communication is not what is said and done, but the result of what is said and done. By joining in and coming back, we increasingly benefit from the distilled essence of an ultimate method of inquiry, based on Sacred Geometry and known as the Path of XPR.

Our meetings last one-hour & are structured as follows:

    1. The first 5 minutes: Welcoming, Checking In. taking a moment of silence.

    2. The next 10 minutes: Ritual readings.

    3. The last 45 minutes: Introduction of a topic from our eBookhttp://thywillbedoneinc.com/pdf/New_Essenes.pdf.

Short & Junk: Sometimes I Plagiarize Myself

    in Entertainment

Wushu76 asks: Firstly I wanted to say thank you for hours and hours of blissful escapism. I love that I can reread and always find something new, some little detail I didn't realise the significance of the first time around, or even the second time around.

My question was inspired by listening to one of the older pod casts. You mentioned that Lantean Legacy and What Might Have Been are direct AUs and I was wondering if that was true of any of your other worlds?

Thank you for sharing your wonderful stories and even more, thank you for not letting the assholes drive you away.
