Next, we head to St. Paul, Minnesota and learn about the James J. Hill House, the founder of the Great Northern Railroad. The get an inside look into the life of a Great Northern railroader. Gov. Terry Branstad announced that Iowa and the federal government will partner to run the state’s health insurance exchange in 2014. By the following year, Iowa plans to transition to a state-run model.The launch of the MNsure online marketplace, state leaders had begun certifying thousands of Minnesotans who will get paid to help people sign up for health insurance. They come from groups as wide-ranging as the liberal Planned Parenthood family planning organization and the conservative Teen Challenge addiction program.ST
Iowa linebacker James Morris joins The B1G Show to talk about preparing for the NFL Draft, as well as Iowa football. The middle linebacker was named to the All-Big Ten second team. He was the only player in the conference with at least 90 tackles, four sacks and four INTs this past season. Not just a star on the field, the Iowa native shined off it as well.
