Memories from the Land of the Intolerant Tyrant

    in Politics Conservative

Gus Venegas was born in 1952 a few months before after a Bautista's coup that ended fifty years of democracy and civil liberties in Cuba.  Nearly all of Gus' kin supported a Revolution that supported a return of the Republic.  The Venegas family witnessed the transformation of the Cuban Revolution into the Western Hemisphere's most oppressive political, economic, and cultural dictatorship.  They left Cuba in 1966 when Castro and President Johnson agreed to a legal and orderly departure of Cuban exiles.

Venegas is the author of Memories from the Land of the Intolerant Tyrant.  Venegas says this book which details life under Castro, is his vegeance.  "The truth is our vengeance".

The New Essenes: "To BIBLE or Not to BIBLE" - Page 11

    in Spirituality

Have you ever wondered why we would keep on criticizing ourselves to no end for a given error, as if we really believed that being harsh upon ourselves was going to promote change? Yet that belief contradicts the current findings of neuroscience in matters of transformation by way of self-acceptance, findings that backup perennial wisdom teachings. Indeed, wisdom has always emphasized understanding and kindness: “do not do unto others what you wouldn’t want others to do unto you.” So why is it that we would be harming ourselves, by being mean, micromanaging and intolerant? Moreover, what link are we missing, that we would use the same belief (I must use force to discipline myself), which ends up keeping healing at bay?

To this, Bruce Lipton offers: “while the Biology of Belief focuses on the nature of how your personal beliefs affect your personal life, what we are realizing now is that collective beliefs have a much more profound effect.” This is to say that our attachment to harmful beliefs (e.g.; I’m “no good”) comes from a deeper source than just our individual story – that there is a global story of pain, which is much more potent, and thus much more arduous to contend with.

To begin undoing this intricate web, the New Essenes propose two possibilities: 1) to go to the most influential book ever – the Bible: whether living in Timbuktu, Paris or Hong Kong, it is likely that we have heard of the myth of the garden, namely Adam, Eve, the Snake and a Tree, characters who were “no good,” and who did something very, very “wrong;” 2) to have a complete different way to look at it: the wisdom teaching of the Bible is not in its story lines, but in its minute essence – the Hebrew alphabet.

    in Christianity

This devotional Bible study scheduled for Tuesday January 20, 2015 is based on Jeremiah 23:10.  The prophet Jeremiah was distraught over the great damage false prophets were causing in Israel to the north and Judah to the south.  The pseudo prophets Jeremiah alludes to in Jeremiah 23:10 were tyrants who used their power to persecute and oppress.  These false prophets of old mirror the false prophets of today who are intolerant of those who question their false prophecies and financially oppress the weak minded.  All five radio programs scheduled for this week are based on Jeremiah 23 and will tackle the subject of False Prophets, their Ministerial Character and Nefarious Activities.

E-mail us at manna4today14@gmail.com in order to receive daily outlines corresponding each Bible study.

Please spread the word about DAILY MANNA FROM HEAVEN by telling your fellow church members, family members, friends, neighbors and co-workers about this life inspiring and Christ-honoring radio program.

  • Religious Intolerance

    in Education

Many people conclude that Christians are intolerant of other religious groups.  Jesus Christ, however, preached about loving your enemies and praying for them.  Some religious fanatics believe that in order to please their "god", they must kill anyone who doesn't convert and worship their "god".  This mentality has lead to endless suffering and the murder of millions innocent people.

    Matthew 5:44 (KJV)  But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you;

Luke 6:28  (KJV)  Bless them that curse you, and pray for them which despitefully use you.

Romans 12:14 (KJV)  Bless them which persecute you: bless, and curse not.

  • Police are Afraid to do their Jobs: Americans Must Arm Themselves

    in Politics Conservative

Fruit from the tree of de Blasio, Obama, Holder and Sharpton.  Larry Pratt is the Executive Director of Gun Owners of America.  He points out that NYPD is in a virtual work stoppage with arrests plummeting 66%. Scared cops are letting minor crimes slide.

GOA is a national membership organization of 300,000 Americans dedicated to promoting their Second Amendment freedom to keep and bear arms.

Gus Venegas, author of Memories from the Land of the Intolerant Tyrant will also weigh in on Obama’s dealings with the Castro brothers.

Racism is Acceptable Once Again-Is It Also Back to White Folks Hand-me-downs?

    in Politics Progressive

Before we discuss the when and why of racism being socially and polically acceptable again in America, let's see if we can decide what racism is. America fully understood racism in the 50s & 60s. Whites explained it then as that's the way things are. That's the way it is supposed to be. Black people were to know and stay in their place. White people were not to voice any other opinon. Today, there is a crumped up different meant to racism. Some will say racism is being intolerate of an entire race of people. This I don't buy, the reason being if racism is being intolerant of a group of people, explain how you are being intolerant toward me and people who look like me. Being visably intolerant is to show up in decision making toward me. Being visably intolerant is behaviour that becomes part of my life and my life's choices. That word racism is applied when visably there are actions involved that harm individuals that are members of a group of people. Black people! There is another part of racism that make racism America's reality. The other part is White priviledge. If racism is intolerance for an entire group than White priviledge is acceptance of an entire group. Could a White person be racist toward his own group of other White people? If there is such a thing as White priviledge, is there also Black priviledge? Do both White priviledge and Black priviledge have the same behaviours and consequences in our society? Now, why is racism now politically and socially acceptable in America here in 2014? My answer is because the elite was once above showing racism. Since 2008 the elite put a stamp of approval on racist actions and language and those who worship the corruption of the elite took up the cause. Racist remarks are again acceptable and those not willing to partake could find themselves friendless. Recall pre 70's USA!

Why are liberals so biased and intolerant

    in Politics Conservative

Evidence abounds: Scholarly studies show that mainstream journalists are overwhelmingly liberal, yet many deny it, and many honestly don't even see the biases they bring to their selection and reporting of the "news." For example:
Environmentalists extrapolate this mindset in their approach to scores of issues, traveling utterly quixotic paths and pursuing devastatingly expensive larks while dismissing skeptics as flat-earthers. Obama constantly refers to his ideas as self-evidently reasonable and Republicans' as driven solely by partisanship, because how could they possibly oppose his reality-based proposals? As a conservative, I believe that many liberals proceed from good intentions, though I think their consistently horrendous results entitle us to some skepticism after a while even as to their intentions — or at least to their ability to see past their oppressive biases.
    Liberals lie to their constituents!
Ther are the most intolerant people I know.
They do not state who they are or what they truly believe.
    Themedia covers up for them.
    They love big government!
They sphew out phony unemployment numbers.
They protect weak politicans, they would have protected Adolph Hitler, Stalin, Hugo Chavez, and other ruthless dictators.

No Exist: The Social and Political Assault on Christianity

    in Politics

    Hot Button Family,

Without question, the most intolerant group of people I have ever encountered, are those who profess that there is no God!

Atheists in America have been politically and socially assaulting Christianity since the turn of the 20th Century. From the Scopes Monkey Trial, to cutting the microphone of valedictorians who give praise to a creator, Atheists target of intolerance has overwhelmingly been the Christian faith.

By doing the following, atheists attempt to legitimize their assault for the social persecution of Christians in America:

    1. Presenting half-truths and false information about Christianity....Hitler was not a Christian

    2. Pitting the study of Science against the belief in God...One does not overwrite the other

    3. Interfering with the rights of how we raise our children as believers, and the influence Christian parents should have in their children's school

We are going to touch the following topics:

Why a person cannot claim Christianity and stand with a party that boo's God
Why Science and Christianity compliment, not conflict on another
'Why Atheists are intolerant to Christians
Why America is a Christian nation

In addition, I will spend the last 15 minutes debating an secularists, or anti-Christian, in the middle of the segment.

Why Does A Different Opinion Now = "I Hate You"!!!!

    in Entertainment

Firstly, this will be a test of my microphone and I will be making a short broadcast to see if I can improve the quality of my broadcasting.

But also, I will be asking why the paranormal broadcasters on blogtalk radio are afraid of me.  Why do they censor me and block me from their chatrooms?   I merely go there and state MY differing opinion about Bigfoot, Psychics, Angels, Aliens, Faities, etc.  The minute they see I have a different opinion than they do, they block me.  Really, is that what you are about?  If someone has a different point of view you can't even tolerate it on your broadcast?  YIKES!!!  Maybe you're not so certain about your philosophy after all, huh?  Hey, I'm not trying to convert the cement heads here.  They are going to believe no matter what.  I'm more interested in the pshchological dynamics of why people have become so intolerant of other ideas & opinions and why a difference of opinion now equals "I Hate You!!!!"
