    in Women

Join Diva Candace Gish today as she speaks with her guest, fellow Diva, Aprille Janes. Their topic today is: "The 'Should' End of the Stick". This is about not trying to control everything in your business. Learning to be flexible. Letting go of control.

Aprille now works with women who want to reach a bigger audience and make an impact on the world we live in. Her clients also demand financial success because, while it’s not the reason for the journey, it’s the fuel in the vehicle. Aprille now helps social entrepreneurs balance purpose, passion and profit.

Interviewing the Divas .. with Guest Susan Graham

    in Women

Join Diva Candace Gish, from Interviewing The Divas, each week as she speaks with other entrepreneurial women. Women who have chosen to be a Woman of Business, all while managing households, families and community.

Today, Candace speaks with Susan Graham.

    Susan Graham Bio:

"I am one of the fortunate few who lives right where I grew up, in one of the most scenic areas of our country - the foothills of the Rocky Mountains southwest of Calgary.

My husband and I own and operate my family's third generation ranch where we have raised our two beautiful daughters.  I am also an Independent Distributor for Zija International, a company whose moringa based nutritional products I immediately fell in love with!

The personal benefits of improved health and well being empowered me to take steps that are leading me in the paths of so many wonderful people from all over the world!

Learning from industry leaders and business partners who have become dear friends and sharing that opportunity with others, is the biggest reward I could ask for.

The more I learn, the more I realize the more I need to learn - how awesome is that?"

    in Women

Join Diva Candace Gish, from Interviewing The Divas, each week as she speaks with other entrepreneurial women. Women who have chosen to be a Woman of Business, all while managing households, families and community.

Today, Candace is interviewing Lisa Smith:

Lisa Smith has been married for 16 years, and is the mother to 5 daughters ages 4 to 14, and a seeker of great opportunities.  It was during a difficult and stressful time of life that her seeking took her on an unexpected adventure.  What started as a simple entry into a video contest, turned into winning an amazing all expenses paid trip to a training for entrepreneurs, which led to becoming a Certified Life Coach, which led to her current business venture with doTERRA Essential Oils.  She says “I still think back to that one online video that announced the contest, and how it has completely changed my life.  We ALWAYS need to be on the lookout for new ideas, new opportunities, and new growth.”

Lisa loves to read and is excited to share a new perspective that challenges how we view work/life balance.  She will not only share why seeking balance is counterproductive, but will also share how to achieve what we are actually looking for in our lives.

Interviewing the Divas .. with Guest Aprille Janes on "Two Sides to Every Story"

    in Women

Join Diva Candace Gish, on Thursday at 12 NOON CST, when she will speak with fellow Diva, Aprille Janes.

Today's Topic is: 2 Sides to Every Story

"Story is about communicating and communication requires sending and receiving. To deeply listen is a lost art today. Especially in a world of short attention spans and quick solutions. So let’s talk about the other side of the story equation – learning to listen so you add value, not just noise".... Aprille Janes

In 2003, after 20 years as a successful business consultant, Aprille threw away her tight "corporate suit" – that robot personality that Big Business values – to work with people creating success on their own terms –  entrepreneurs. Today she has a lot more fun helping her clients "Tell a Bigger Story" while building connection-based, successful businesses.  Her clients do what they love AND they make a great living. Aprille is a small business mentor, speaker, author and podcast host of The Bolder Business Podcast.
