We're excited to have Dr. Chas Gant back on our show today!
Dr Chas is fresh off the stage from the Integrative Health Conference where he spoke on integrative cancer treatments. Today he'll be sharing this information with us.
"A problem in most conventional cancer treatment is that so much attention is devoted to treating the specific cancer that the overall care of the individual often takes a back seat. This is certainly understandable. How hard can you work and where do you focus your limited resources?"

“This book is a story about my own journey as a medical doctor toward creative integrative medicine. It is about my passion to promote changes in the health-care systems and medical schools that will lead to a greater understanding of the true nature of the human being and assist us in reaching our greatest potential through healing on all levels.”
“It is now time to redefine a form of medicine based on the new scientific model of understanding of the universe according to quantum physics — a creative integrative medicine. Doing so will be the key to solving the current health-care crisis, and it will lead to a new vision of integrative health care based not on disease but on the full potential of the individual. Our understanding of the human body will expand to include the body’s subtle energy systems and the mental and emotional connections to the physical body. How the mind works can be explored from a nondualistic viewpoint, compared to the dualistic philosophy used today. It will open the door to creative new approaches to healing that have the opportunity to solve problems still unresolved by conventional medicine, specifically in the areas of chronic and degenerative diseases.”
Join hosts, Dr. Kim Bloomer and Dr. Jeannie Thomason as they discuss once again integrative health care. Ought it to be? What about natural remedies versus prescription or OTC drugs? What is the real issue with those who write articles or make statements that are shared on this subject scaring people away from nature's remedies or scaring them enough to make them think they can only use them with a "doctor's" guidance? Join them as they discuss this hot button topic again.

If you want to begin the healing process, you have to show up.
That’s what Laura Mayer does. After fighting a debilitating, disfiguring disease for more than 40 years, she took her illness in her own hands and opened up a whole new world of possibilities. Her story is a journey of heartbreak, healing and hope, an inspiring personal travelogue for anyone struggling with childhood scars that have prevented them from going forward and growing into the happy, healthy, whole adults they deserve to be. It takes courage to love yourself enough to face traumas and truths long kept hidden, to step into your life with grace and gratitude, and to show up, faith first, against all odds, every day. But if you have that courage and the determination to take back what is rightfully, preciously yours, then you’ll be, as Laura Mayer is, unstoppable. Laura’s words come straight from her heart. Her spirit comes from deep inside her soul.
