Followed by internationally known drumming facilitator, Rowan Storm who will discuss the Frame Drum, archetypal women's instrument of the Middle East. She will discuss the ongoing, continuous women's frame drum traditions throughout a huge geographic territory based on women's agrarian practides for millennia. We'll talk about her new symmetrical playing method which introduces a new stroke and playing modality which promotes equal creative expression by both hands, and balances the rational and intuitive capacities of both brain hemispheres....Rowan will explain how waking up the non-dominant hand and the corresponding brain function is like opening a box of treasure which has been hidden for lifetimes.
Eliot Lewis (born March 10, 1962) is an American rock, R&B and soul singer, keyboardist, guitarist, bassist, drummer, songwriter, and producer. He is best known for his work with Average White Band (1989-2002) and Hall & Oates (2003-present). Lewis is also an integral part of Live From Daryl's House, a monthly Internet-based show hosted by Daryl Hall that is now carried by several television and cable networks across the United States.Lewis grew up in Norwalk, CT, the youngest of three children, in what he describes as a very musical environment. Although his mother was a classical pianist, Lewis’ first instrument was the drums, which he discovered at age 10. When he was 12 years old, he formed his first band, Take Off, with three childhood friends. The father of Take Off’s bass player worked for several major record labels and was instrumental in exposing young Eliot to many of the artists of the day, including The Who, Elton John, and Alice Cooper. He even arranged a jam session for the boys at his house with Peter Frampton.
In his early 20s, Lewis was introduced to Dan Hartman, a singer, songwriter, and record producer responsible for hits such as "Free Ride," "Relight My Fire," and "I Can Dream About You." Lewis began working with Hartman, collaborating on music for some of the day’s top stars and working on albums like Joe Cocker’s Unchain My Heart and Tina Turner’s Simply the Best.
A few years later, Lewis inked his first publishing deal with Sony Tunes, where he collaborated with many other songwriters, including Porter Carroll Jr. of the band Atlantic Starr. After several years with Sony, Lewis signed with Warner Chappell Music, then produced a number of releases for RCA.

An Instrument of Your Peace
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace;
where there is hatred, let me sow love;
where there is injury, pardon;
where there is doubt, faith;
where there is despair, hope;
where there is darkness, light;
and where there is sadness, joy.
O Divine Master,
grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console;
to be understood, as to understand;
to be loved, as to love;
for it is in giving that we receive,
it is in pardoning that we are pardoned,
and it is in dying that we are born to Eternal Life.
Donald F. Godbolt reorganized and revived what was once known as the "Spiritual Gifts" music ministry. God placed amazingly enough, the same vision and word that were originally deposited into the late Evangelist Godbolt, his mother, supernaturally and divinely into his heart and soul. Today Spiritual Gifts is composed of new members; and of-course, these members have been divinely hand-picked and placed by God into this ministry for ministry.
Lastly, if you ask any member of Spiritual Gifts what they love to do, the reply that you will receive is simply this: "We love to worship and praise God with our whole heart, mind, body, soul, and strength because OUR PRAISE IS OUR WEAPON!
M.O.P. Is made up of a group of skilled, talented and anointed singers and worship leaders. They have a purpose and a desire to please God with the instrument that He gave them. With each individual uniquely gifted in there own way, a unique sound of abundance fills the atmosphere with a contemporary sound that blesses the Father. Through Him the ear of the flesh is pleased, and the ear of the spirit is strengthened. M.O.P. Releases a sound of worship that affects the heart of God’s people and creates a decrease in the flesh and a submission to the spirit of God.
Called to music ministry at the age of 8 years old, Kenny Lumpkin has grown to believe that changing lives through music and song is the main reason to write or sing a song. As the power of God speaks, Kenny listens to what God is saying and orchestrates it in an anointed sound that shakes the atmosphere, which leads to a powerful worship experience.
As God pours out His spirit upon all flesh, M.O.P. and Kenny Lumpkin are excited about that power being poured out through their anointed voices.
In this episode of EGUA - Marketplace we discuss GUAMUA KASA, public speech/speaking, as an instrument to organize economic activity for the benefit of our Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) community. Our GUAMU KASA services are free. When we give presentations in different cities we do not charge an admission's fee for attendees to our events nor do we charge a speaker's fee. Moreover, we endeavor to provide a free copy of one of our soft-cover books to everyone who attends our events. Over the past 12 months we have given away over 350 free copies of our soft-cover books to the Afurakani/Afuraitkaitnit (African) community.
GUAMU KASA, public speaking, can be an effective tool to transfer knowledge, stimulate economic activity, reinforce the values of our culture and empower our community when approached in a culturally grounded manner.
