    in Books

Best selling author Vanessa Davis Griggs makes her first appearance on the Author Chat Show to discuss her new re-release, Redeeming Waters.

    About the book:

Redeeming Waters is a story about a mega gospel recording artist named King d.Avid who meets Brianna. Their paths cross again years later and you see them both dealing with some things during that time. As with all of us, we make decisions not realizing how deep the consequences of those actions may take us. This story shows how one decision can begin to snowball into something that’s hard to stop as it gains an avalanche of momentum. People will also learn things when it comes to the biblical telling of David and Bathsheba.

    About the author:

An author and motivational speaker who adores the power of words both written and spoken, at the end of 1996 this former BellSouth employee left 18 years of service and stepped out on faith as she pursues her purpose and passion—writing and speaking. Vanessa Davis Griggs resides in Irondale, a community just outside of Birmingham, Alabama. Among many recognitions and awards, she’s the 2014 AAMBC Christian Writer of the Year. The Author Chat Show with Lynda D. Brown

    in Books

Meet author Lyric Benson Ferguson. She's stopping by the Author Chat show to 'chat' about her new book, French Kissing God: A Journey to Enlightenment.

    About the book:

French Kissing God brings a message of peace, love and Divine-realization while awakening the hearts of anyone seeking a truly mystical existence. The book’s exuberant, pulsating, passionate and visceral verses are the hallmark of author Lyric Benson Fergusson, whose words let us join her on a journey to enlightenment—from the beginning days when she was seeking God to experiences of unimaginable Divine Union and bliss. This powerful collection successfully brings the concept of piety back “down to Earth” in the modern-day playground of spiritual awakening.

French Kissing God: A Journey to Enlightenment has been endorsed by bestselling authors: Oriah Mountain Dreamer, Jeff Brown, Marci Shimoff, Barnet Bain, Dr. Norman Rosenthal and many others.

    About the author:

Lyric first emerged from almost a decade of studying consciousness and enlightenment to create her debut album Lyric’s Love Light Revolution, co-produced by her father, actor/director Robby Benson, and her singer/songwriter mother, Karla DeVito. The album is a celebration of Lyric’s wildly eccentric journey into the throes of divine love. All of her lyrics were inspired by and taken directly from the poetry she composed over these very unconventional spiritual years.
