Since 1984, I’ve also published successfully online, starting with a profitable syndicated news and information service for operators of the dial-up computer bulletin board systems that pre-dated the Web by more than 15 years, then on to ebooks, special reports, emailed newsletters websites and blogs.

LatinoTalk Texas is America's only daily Independent Political Analysis from the Latino Perspective. On today's show, I spend several minutes discussing the nature of the Latino vote and the imperativeness that American Latinos get out and vote. I read a piece by Maria Teresa Kumar, co-foundress of Voto Latino, who said in her essay, "How the Latino Vote became a Movement for Change," that, "Latinos also realize it is up to us to vote to protect our families and our communities. Only by building our segment of the electorate can we change the bad politics practiced by both major parties that now stands in the way of needed policy changes on immigration reform and other issues. " which deeply echoes my many remarks on this, America's only daily independent political analysis from the Latino perspective. I later describe the sad state of affairs in Iraq and Syria as Islamic State Army is at the doorstep of Bagdad and our air campaign under dubious leadership is failing. Lastly, I discuss the fear mongering that is going on behind "Climate Change" agenda.

THIS WEEK’S MESSAGE:
Okay. You just wrote the most beautiful, thought-provoking words in the English language. You feel that you have written the best story you possibly can. Now that your manuscript is complete, you are ready to get published. You send out query letters and get no responses. You seek niche publishers and find no interest. You settle for a quality self-publishing partner and finally get your new book in print and/or in the eBook catalogs. Your family, friends and close acquaintances love your work. You feel personally fulfilled. However, it's a year later and only a handful of your books have been sold. Here's the sad truth: most people who write a book will never get it published, half the writers who are published won't see a second book in print, and most books published by so-called major publishers are never reprinted. What's more, half the titles in any given bookshop won't sell a single copy there, and most traditionally published writers won't earn anything from their book apart from the advance. However, a rare few will ignore all this and succeed, but they're the lottery winners. Everyone else has to work at it. How to best understand the good, the bad and the challenges of the book publishing business?
THIS SHOW IS FOR ANYONE WHO HAS DREAMS OF PUBLISHING A BOOK. YOU MAY ALREADY HAVE A BOOK OUT AND JUST NEED HELP PROMOTING YOUR BOOK. THEN THIS SHOW IS FOR YOU.
