Behind the Headlines: Fascism 2.0 – Mass hysteria against refugees in Europe

    in News

New Year, new show time! Behind the Headlines will now be broadcast 2 hours earlier than previously, that's 12-2pm EST / 5-7pm UTC / 6-8pm CET

New Year celebrations apparently passed relatively uneventfully in Germany, which last year took in a staggering 1.1 million refugees fleeing Western wars in the Middle East and North Africa. But then, four days later, descriptions of very ugly scenes in Cologne emerged in the media.

People took to the streets to protest against ‘sexual terrorism’ committed by ‘a thousand’ refugees, officials began retracting and contradicting earlier statements, and mass hysteria broke out in Germany and across the Western world as the media hinted at a massive cover-up.

On today’s episode of Behind the Headlines, we’re joined by Dutch Sott.net editor Amari Roos to discuss the backlash against refugees in Europe, the latest developments in the Middle East, the many ‘Islamic terror’-related incidents around the world thus far in 2016, and some of the recent extreme weather events.

Join us from 12-2pm EST / 5-7pm UTC / 6-8pm CET this Sunday, 17 January 2016, for a global perspective on current events

He's Coming: Hysteria and Distractions Foretold

    in Christianity

Are we so naive as to believe God is surprised about all these things that are happening in this fallen, increasingly iniquitous world? Is the New World Order (NWO) and all its facets ... CERN, etc., and all the other evil dealings a surprise to Him who knows all from beginning to end? "But brother Todd did you hear about ...!?" Hysteria is reigning among the ungrounded - those not truly abiding in and with our LORD Jesus (John 15). Remember that all these signs are to get us to "look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh." (Luke 21:28)

Focusing on these signs while neglecting the Savior who gave them to us is sin. He gave us these signs in order to get us to come to Him and to abide intimate in Him.

Jesus foretold us that distractions would abound and what to do when He warned: "And they shall say to you, See here; or, see there: go not after them, nor follow them. 24 For as the lightning, that lighteneth out of the one part under heaven, shineth unto the other part under heaven; so shall also the Son of man be in his day." (Luke 17:23-24)

    Distractions Foretold

It seems He is warning us not to be hostile in our watching for His soon return. Remember that in verse 20-21 of this passage, Jesus instructs "The kingdom of God cometh not with observation (occular evidence): 21 Neither shall they say, Lo here! or, lo there! for, behold, the kingdom of God is within you." In other words, as long as you truly know Him, you have nothing at all to worry about.

The signs He gave us were to get our eyes on Him and not off of Him. His kingdom is in us and so we need not frantically be looking for it or Him. When He comes no one is going to miss it. To hold such a notion is to be ignorant of the knowledge of His infinite Majesty.

Uterine fibroids that cause pain, bleeding, or other problems
Uterine prolapse, which is a sliding of the uterus from its normal position into the vaginal canal
Cancer of the uterus, cervix, or ovaries
    Endometriosis
    Abnormal vaginal bleeding
    Chronic pelvic pain
Adenomyosis, or a thickening of the uterus

    Black Geek Movie Talk: Regression

    in Movies

This week we review "Regression" starring Ethan Hawke, Emma Watson, and David Thewlis.  Within the context of 80's hysteria over satanic cults, a detective (Hawke) and psychiatrist (Thewlis) investigate the rape of a young woman (Watson) in the Midwest.   "Regression" was directed by Spanish filmmaker Alejandro Amenábar whose 2001 flick "The Others" was probably underrated by most critics and movie-goers.  Amenábar is also responsible for "Abre Los Ojos", the trippy, existential screenplay Cameron Crowe adapted into "Vanilla Sky".  Tune in today at 1:30 PM PST to find out if this is a must-see or must-skip.

    Diversity or P.C. Police Brutality?

    in Culture

Mattel has made a line of “Barbie” dolls with a multicultural array of physical appearances. Ranging in many colors, and racial features, to different heights, and weights, and even body types, etc. The intention would be to address concerns of representing and supporting all ethnicities and cultures, etc, but is this taking things over the top, or is this something long overdue and very much needed in a multicultural world and society?

The supposed “synthetic weed” K2 has been getting dangerously toxic reviews from users who have suffered afflictions ranging from vomiting, and hysteria, to being hospitalized and incarcerated, etc for schizophrenic behavior and diagnosis! This is all in an effort to keep marijuana illegal and allow the government an opportunity to monetize it for financial gain. Again, is this lack of acceptance of diversity in people another form of P.C. Brutality? Since it’s “not right” to smoke weed, the government will make something that can be accepted by all…?!?
