After his trip last month to attend both the Japan Gaming Congress in Tokyo and G2E Asia in Macau, AGEM Executive Director Marcus Prater ponders the question of why gaming expansion so often seems so difficult. The most recent case in point was proposed legalization of gaming in Japan.
We are an impatient people. We are always in a hurry, and we often find ourselves getting extremely irritated with anyone whom we believe is slowing down our progress toward achieving our world transforming goals. A few weeks ago, I had to intervene when a retired man physically threatened a young female checker at Sam's Club. Her "crime?" Having to wait for a supervisor because the customer before Mr. Important decided she didn't want what had been rung up and walked away. What's up? What in the world is going on? We'll discuss it today!
"In A Hurry To Go Nowhere"
Habakkuk 2:2-3 (NKJV)
"2. Then the Lord answered me and said: "Write the vision And make it plain on tablets, That he may run who reads it. 3. For the vision is yet for an appointed time; But at thend it will speak, and it will not lie. Though it tarries, wait for it; Because it will surely come, It will not tarry" ."

To find a good job in a hurry you gotta have a workable plan. The way to make job search more productive and less time consuming takes a series of objectives.
1. Dealing With Setbacks of Unemployment
2. Goals and Career Choices
3. Read and Follow Instructions
4. Accept Today and Experience Change
5. There is Room for Improvement
Attitude matters in all we do, especially job search. Anticipate getting hired. An application either help or hurt your job search efforts. Appearance is important for that first impression. Building self esteem is important. Build on your strengths and get hired sooner rather than later.
