Special Guest ~ Fay Hart https://twitter.com/fayhart101
Fay Hart, slow coach for people in the fast lane, is a poet who came of age in the ‘70s, moving to London to live a rock and roll life. For a young poet, punk music and London’s poetic history was an intoxicating mix, and London suited her for nearly 30 years. In the ‘90s Fay turned her attention to understanding suffering, reading psychology at the University of Surrey and continuing to educate herself for a further dozen years. But it took Mexico and a mystical trilogy for Fay to become fully aware of our ability to end suffering. With the motto do less, accomplish more taped to her MacBook, Fay built a business from the house she ‘bought at a yard sale’ in Mexico. She assists clients from as far afield as New Zealand to make great changes in their lives by doing less. Fay is the author of a beautiful new paradigm in healing for our time, the Steps.
From an impromptu call with Wayne Dyer to a newly launched Indiegogo campaign, Fay's relationship to and with 'the Steps' has been both personal and transformative. Join in the conversation through LIVE Twitter interaction during the show with Slow Coach Fay Hart as she shares more about her mystical program 'the Steps - a new paradigm of healing for our time.' In late October, Sandy turned left then slammed into the New Jersey coast. Companies as far west as Pennsylvania were impacted.
The damage to New Jersey businesses was epic:
New Jersey businesses’ economic losses approached $30 billion. 75% of NJ’s small businesses were adversely affected. 10% of NJ small businesses sustained damage of $250,000 or more. Total business losses were estimated at $8.3 billion. VOIXIS is interviewing companies all over New Jersey, New York, and Connecticut. We're presenting stories of business endurance and resilience.
In this show, we interview Lynn Buschman, Director of Operations of Lingraphica. As a Registered Expressive Arts Consultant/Educator, Storyteller and Artist, Fay Wilkinson explores the transformative power of art making for self-discovery and healing, through her studio and arts practice, the Creative Cocoon.
A graduate of the Expressive Arts Post Graduate Program from Sir Sandford Fleming College, she’s studied with master mask makers in England, renowned storytellers and voice coaches in Canada as well as the Sheridan School of Craft & Design.
She is the academic coordinator and faculty member in the Expressive Arts Post-Graduate Certificate at Sir Sandford Fleming College, a member of The International Expressive Arts Therapy Association and The Society of Arts in Healthcare. She conduct workshops and retreats nationally and internationally. My artwork is in private collections in Canada, the U.S., Australia and Europe.
But perhaps more important than credentials is that you know how Fay strives for authentic self expression in her own work; that she continues to learn, explore and play every day; and that she creates a safe environment where others can use art making as a tool to discover their own voice and tell their own stories.
