"Conquering Objections to God's Sovereignty" (Romans 3:1-8) Huntsville Baptist

    in Religion

When one studies theology, it is not long before one is confronted with the issue of God's sovereignty. But, there are difficulties in understanding God's sovereignty especially when it comes to issues of human freedom. In this message, Pastor Brian confronts three issues concerning God's sovereignty. Are there benefits in being one of God's chosen people (Israelites)? Does God's faithfulness depend upon human faithfulness? Can one determine the qualities of God from God's people? If God is sovereign, can people be held responsible for their actions? How does God's sovereignty blend with human responsibility? All these issues and much more will be discussed in Pastor Brian's message "Conquering Objections to God's Sovereignty" first delivered at Huntsville Baptist Church. Check out Pastor Brian's website at http://pastorbrianchilton.wordpress.com.

Blingin the Airwaves with Nasa's Raymond French and Miss Bling

    in Entertainment

This is an interview I spoke on years ago about speaking with someone from NASA about blinging out a space shuttle, besides that I wanted to know whats going on in Mars and on Earth. I was concerned about UFO's and so I called NASA to find out what the LDSD experiment was all about. Today I have the pleasure of speaking with Raymond French who serves as the deputy manager of the Technology Demonstrations Mission (TDM) Program Office located at NASA’s Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama. The TDM program oversees a portfolio of technology demonstration flight projects led by NASA centers and industry partners across the country for NASA’s Space Technology Mission Directorate in Washington.

The TDM program focuses on crosscutting technologies, with strong customer interest that meet the needs of NASA and industry by enabling new missions or greatly enhancing existing ones. Chosen technologies will be thoroughly ground-tested and flight-tested -- reducing risks to future flight missions, gaining operational heritage and continuing NASA’s long history as a technological leader. Tune in to find out about the experiment and all things related to NASA's technology on Earth and in Space!

Maleeka Hollaway on Women of Wisdom

    in Motivation

On Women of Wisdom today, Best-Selling Author, Win Kelly Charles welcomes Maleeka Hollaway. She was born in Atlanta, Ga and immediately relocated to Huntsville, AL after graduating from Meadowcreek High School in 2008. She moved to Huntsville to accept a full academic scholarship to Alabama A & M University. Moving to Huntsville as the turning point of her life. Her decision making led to her entering into marriage and motherhood prematurely- a marriage that was physically and mentally abusive, which led to her spiritual death. If someone had told Maleeka that she would be a victim of violence, she would not have believed them. Maleeka's experience with pain has birthed a purpose for her life that she did not know was possible. As Maleeka was going through she came in contact with more and more people that were hurting as she was: abused, used, fatherless, depressed, broke, and hopeless. Now that Maleeka have transitioned out of that stage of her life, God has called her to help pull others out also. God has called her to be a walking miracle to those who don't believe in miracles. You can find out more about Maleeka visit http://www.officialmaleeka.com/.
