Rattle and Hum Sports: Tony Romo May Miss the Rest of the Season

    in Football

Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo could be out for the season

By Bryan Houston and Matthew Postins

News broke late Monday afternoon that Dallas Cowboys quarterback Tony Romo had undergone an MRI on his back, and was diagnosed with a herniated disk that may require season ending surgery. The news comes just days before the Cowboys are to play the Philadelphia Eagles in a de facto NFC East Championship game, with the winner making the playoffs and hosting a first round game next weekend.

At an early evening press conference, Dallas Cowboys head coach Jason Garret would not confirm Romo had been ruled out of Sunday’s game with the Eagles but would only suggest the quarterback would be evaluated daily throughout the week to determine his status for Sunday. If Romo is indeed inactive for the game with the Eagles, backup quarterback Kyle Orton would get the start while the Cowboys look to sign a free agent to be their number two signal caller behind Orton.

Rattle and Hum Sports’ Dallas Cowboys Columnist Matthew Postins joins host Bryan Houston tonight at 7:30 pm CT to cover the shocking news coming out of Valley Ranch.

    The Hum

    in Paranormal

    Just what is "The Hum"?
The Hum is a generic name for a series of phenomena involving a persistent and invasive low-frequency humming noise not audible to all people. Hums have been reported in various geographical locations. In some cases a source has been located. A Hum on the Big Island of Hawaii, typically related to volcanic action, is heard in locations dozens of miles apart. The local Hawaiians also say the Hum is most often heard by men. The Hum is most often described as sounding somewhat like a distant idling diesel engine. Typically, the Hum is difficult to detect with microphones, and its source and nature are hard to localize.

Tuatha Dea wrote music based on Alex Bledsoe's trilogy, taking inspiration from the stories he wrote.
