    Milling About with Grayson Hugh

    in Entertainment

Grayson Hugh is Back To The Soul with a new album, returning to his blue-eyed southern soul sound, country and rock roots. Grayson tells host Robin Milling the inspiration for the album and stories behind such songs as the title cut, Rock 'n Roll Man, Getting On With My Life and Already In Love With You; a tribute to his marriage of seven years to wife and collaborator in life and music, Polly Messer.

Grayson says the album is a return to his soul both musically and spiritually. He explains, 'A song like Thank You Lord; I'm very grateful to be alive, be sober 11 years and my gratitude also being happily married finally after many dysfunctional relationships I'm very grateful to my higher power.'

  • Hugh Newman and Jim Vieira: Giants on Record, America’s Hidden History

    in News

For a long time, it was thought giants were just part of folklore, but recent research into old documents, newspapers, journals, first hand reports, and old photos now suggest that these may have been a reality. It is the discoveries in the mounds and megalithic sites of North America that have created a huge controversy, because there are at least 1500 reports of a giant race, some with double rows of teeth, horned skulls, powerful jaws, and elongated craniums, who ruled the continent since at least 7,000 BC.

Jim Vieira is a stonemason and writer and has collated 1500 newspapers and scholarly accounts of giant skeletons being found in North America, In 2012 he created the online blog 'The Daily Giant’ presenting one giant report per day. He is star of the History Channel TV show Search for the Lost Giants with his brother Bill.

Hugh Newman is an explorer, megalithomaniac and author of Earth Grids: The Secret Pattern of Gaia’s Sacred Sites. He has been a regular guest on History Channel’s Ancient Aliens and featured in Search for the Lost Giants. He has articles published in Atlantis Rising (US), New Dawn (Australia) and numerous other publications. His websites are www.megalithomania.co.uk and www.hughnewman.co.uk

Tony Trupiano": The Voice of the People for Thursday, November 12, 2015

    in Politics Progressive

November 12, 2015, may ultimately be remembered by gale force winds and power outages (God, I hope not!) but let it also be remembered as the day that you were empowered by one of my amazing guests like Richard Zombeck, our National Political Director and his comments of the GOP debate and the future of Ben Carson.  Hugh Madden from Progress Michigan has a thing or twenty to say about the report from the Center for Public Integrity showing Michigan as the LEAST transparent and accountable state government in the country.  Melissa Yeager with the Sunlight Foundation breaks down the disturbing report on on-line political ads and the impossible track to find out who runs them and finances them.  Yes, it just gets more and more secretive, and that is not a good thing.  REFORM!!!  And finally Bill Meyer will join us to share with all of us the play tomorrow night in Detroit for one night only titled Marx In Soho and this is one play you want to see.  Tune in for all the details.

Join us on-air by calling 347-308-8392 or e-mail Tony at tony@thetonyshow.org.  You can like us on Facebook at Tony Trupiano or at The Voice of the People and on Twitter @tonytrupiano and @ VOTPTony.
