How to survive a tragedy!
Have you ever noticed that God’s “judgment “ voice is always with you?
Have you ever noticed that when you do wrong God’s voice is with you?
Is it God’s voice or is it the condemning voice of man and God’s voice is in the background somewhere saying, “I will never leave you or forsake you.
Psalms 23:1-6 NKJV
1 A Psalm of David. The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
2 He makes me to lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside the still waters.
3 He restores my soul; He leads me in the paths of righteousness For His name's sake.
4 Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.
5 You prepare a table before me in the presence of my enemies; You anoint my head with oil; My cup runs over.
6 Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me All the days of my life; And I will dwell in the house of the LORD Forever.

"Today and every day, choose one loving thought over one angry thought and encourage every child you know to do the same." – Scarlett Lewis
Scarlett Lewis, mother of Jesse Lewis and founder of The Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation is a new activist for peace. On December 14th, 2012, Scarlett’s six-year old son, Jesse McCord Lewis, walked out of his house and down the driveway towards his father who was waiting to drive him to school. Along the way, Jesse stopped to write a message with his finger in the frost on his mother’s car: “I love you.” Just hours later, Jesse was gone. He was one of the 26 victims of the Sandy Hook Elementary School shootings in Newtown, Connecticut.
Days prior, Jesse wrote three words on his chalkboard at home: “Nurturing. Healing. Love.” Following Jesse’s death, Scarlett wrote Nurturing Healing Love, the story of her journey from personal tragedy to a movement that can change the world. The Jesse Lewis Choose Love Foundation collaborates with educators to develop school-based programs to change our current culture of violence to one of safety, peace and love. Its single guiding principle and motto is - Teaching Others to Choose Love. Visit www.jesselewischooselove.org Watch “Choose Love.”

There may be no greater loss than losing one’s ability to make sense of the real world. From Tragedy to Triumph is a tale of an incredible journey. It traces a path of young girl growing up in a humble Irish background to becoming a mother, a wife, and successful businesswomen only to have it all dashed by a terrible brain trauma that left her in the grips of confusion and terror. Against the backdrop of her life across continents; this is a story of one woman’s triumph against the odds. It involves a multiplicity of human dramas with each character playing an integral role. Supported by amazing jazz and theater personalities, her family and dearest friends Taylor tells a story of her terrible ordeal and the suffering of those who loved her. It also tells of her quest for justice in one of Canada's most protracted civil cases that provided little recompense for her years of suffering and losses.
Today, 03 December 2014, Nick & Joanna will be discussing loss and loniness during the Holiday season.
We seem to see so much loss during the holidays. When it is time for someone to leave this earth, that timing sometimes feels like it knows no boundaries in terms of what else is going on in the calender or in the lives of others who are affected. That soul leaves, and with it, a wake of sadness and grief is left to wash over family and friends who feel the loss and need to deal with the subsequent feelings and emotions, as well as the memory now associated with the holiday. It's difficult enough to deal with loss at any time of the year, but when it happens at the holidays, how do we process it in the moment and in subsequent months and years?
We will also be talking about how the holiday season can amplify feelings of isolation and loniliness, and what we can do about it. This is not always a matter of being with others. Lonliness can prevail even in a room full of other people. We need to be aware that the holidays are not a joyful or bountiful time for everyone. We will be discussing this important topic & how we can increase our compassion, understanding, and how we can reach out to those who may be suffering in silence.

Hear the vicious attacks by Mathew T. Grey, an Ex-DCF Investigator to Michelle Rider on Illinois Governor Bruce Rauner's Facebook page. I will read ALL of his hate and idiocy so you can hear just how pathetic these people truly are. I have also challenged this Mathew T. Grey to come on the program and defend his untruthful and hateful actions. Will he take that challenge? . . . Only his incredibly ignorant self knows the answer to that.
Also: A terrible tragedy and a terrible injustice has been served once again on anther American family. The Shoar's Family tragedy. All seven children removed after an accident in the home. Still no reason, still no charges and still no children!
