This week we are talking about Winning Strategies, which is blade #2 of my windmill. Working smarter, not harder, is how you take your business to a new level. It is about becoming the owner of your business and getting out of the role of operator. As an operator you are lost in the busy of the day to day but are not able to provide strategic direction and positioning for your business from this perspective. In my quantum productivity program, this section reveals the best practices behind 3 elements that make up Winning Strategies, Planning, Process and Priority.
We will rerun this amazing interview with the founder of CEO Space, Berny Dohrmann to discuss the power of collaboration and the pitfalls of competition.
Is it possible to have your cake and eat it to? To have a clear and powerful purpose that you make money off of too? The truth is when you are clear on your path and you are doing what you are meant to be doing the money will come. We will talk about how to get to this place faster and to understand the components that give you clarity to seperate the signal from the noise (that we have spoken about with MaryAnn Setembrino. Today we will be joined by Sian Lindemann to give us the 6 questions that we need to know to deliever clarity and turn our prupose into profits.
This week we will be talking about Progress. First don’t confuse progress with measurement. You measure to help you get progress and understand patterns of behavior. Progress is about understanding what success looks like so you know it when you see it. Recognizing the progress is how you build energy and momentum to keep yourself moving forward. In my experience this is an underused muscle for most. Most people either “Don’t have time for it” or worse, aren't even aware of the progress. So again progress can be the RESULT of measurement they are quite different. Progress is about recognizing yourself for what you have accomplished. It centers on staying focused on your results you have achieved and rewardingyourself and others for moving closer to your result. Keep in mind that moving closer can also occur when an undesirable result occurs. No matter the result if progress is used properly it will move you forward faster to the result you want. This aspect of progress is often ignored. In my framework of I know this one of the steps to master are about creating habits. Well several studies have shown that the most effective way to create permanent habits is through positive reinforcement. This week I am honored to be joined by Roy Saunderson, an expert in corporate recognition.
Take Charge of your Productvity : Winning Strategies and Marketing
On this show will talk about the 3 elements of Winning Strategies as they relate to marketing and social media. The 3 elements of Winning Strategies are planning, process and prioritization. Of course our strategies need to be built on top of a championship psychology - this is applicable for our businesses as well as our personal lives. We will discuss a few of these supporting principles as well. Don’t miss a great show with our guest Devani Freeman from Seattle Washington.
Devani Freeman has a big marketing firm background but found her niche with small business and entrepreneurs. She LOVES marketing! She helps small businesses and entrepreneurs on how to grow and market their business using social media and online marketing. The thing is, consumers are using these tools EVERY single day to seek out information and opinions about products and services. It’s easy to throw up a website, but it’s another thing to get people to visit your website and buy what you have to offer. That’s where Devani comes in! She help you to find YOUR voice online and get heard the right way through strategies with Facebook, video, Twitter, Pinterest, Youtube, blogging, email marketing and much more.
Take Charge of Your Productivity is illustrated with the windmill. There are three blades, Championship Psychology, Winning Strategies and Sustainable Results. Championship Psychology is the foundation and must come first. Success begins with our mindset. Has anyone really defined in simple steps what makes up a championship mindset so it is easier to reach? Has anyone ever defined and enabled us to set a baseline to measure that? Has anyone ever created step by step process to manage emotional triggers that get us off the path? Well, we have! Join Dr. Tom and I as we share this definition and some results and insights from our Championship Psychology Boot camp. We will center the discussion around 1 of the 8 presuppositions /principles of championship psychology that act as the foundation.
Guest: Dr. Thomas Duncan, M.D.
Doctor Tom is a practicing physician who focuses on his patients as “complete individuals” and seeks the root cause of their symptoms rather than simply masking them with medications. In addition to his full time private practice, Dr. Tom is a passionate speaker, devoted father and husband, and author.
This week’s topic is Language. Language is one of the 4 core elements that make up our Psychology. You will notice that we talk about language on the show twice as much as all the other topics! This is because Language is THE most important ingredient in creating your championship psychology. After years of studying methods for balancing your life and creating increases for my client’s productivity, I have found that mastering your language with yourself and others is the biggest driving force behind the quality of our lives and businesses. It is our language that drives our emotion, not the words we speak out loud, but the language in terms of the patterns of thought we engage in and the questions we ask ourselves.
Our behavior stems from that communication, so it is the quality of our language that dictates the quality of everything we do, the relationships we have, and our ability to reach true success. I’m going to be joined by coach, entrepreneur, author and motivational speaker Tish Squillaro about getting rid of your “head trash” and finding peace, balance, and of course: productivity.
Tish Squillaro has more than 17 years experience advising executives in strategic planning, organizational dynamics and human capital allocation. Tish is the CEO and Founder of CANDOR Consulting. She is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, and is a member of the Board of Directors for the Philadelphia based non-profit organization, ACHIEVEability. Tish lives with her husband and two children in Valley Forge, PA.
