The Politics of Faith with Rev. Rodney Sadler

    in Politics Progressive

Host Dr. Rev. Rodney Sadler discusses Politics of Faith including progressive politics, American politics, culture, demographics, social justice, economic justice, history, society, social change, community action, community organization, and more!

Rev. Sadler is joined by the world renowned Christian activist and author Ched Myers. Ched is the author of "Binding the Strongman" and "The Biblical Vision of Sabbath Economics" among other texts and is at the forefront of thinking on the ways that our economy can better reflect the mandates of Scripture. I will also be joined by two of my guests from the last couple of weeks. Jason Williams of "Little Tree" and Greg Jarrell of "Family Tree" (both intentional Christian communities in NC) will share time with me and engage in the larger conversation with Ched. In addition to the issue of moral economic practices, I would like to engage over the issues of race and what we can do to address this issue in our society.

Adam and Eve, Cain and Abel, and the Mystery Bitches-In-law

    in Entertainment

This episode of The Forbidden Fruit will poke fun at the Original First Family of Adam and Eve. Talk about dysfunctional, they put the "dis" in disfunctional. From listening to a talking snake to killing your brother because God liked his meat offering better than his veggie spread to loads of incest, is going to be interesting to say the least. There is no telling where this discussion may end up. Don't miss this one. It could get real crazy.
