SORT BY Relevancy
Workplace violence is any physical assault, threatening behavior, or verbal abuse occurring in the work setting. Violence has reached epidemic proportions. There are 2 million reports of violent acts in the workplace committed each year. There are 1000 homicides in the workplace committed each year. Join me on tonight's show as I discuss how to stay safe in a hostile environment while exploring leadership during outbreaks of workplace violence.
What constitutes a hostile work environment? Some employees believe that a bad boss, an unpleasant work environment, a rude coworker, or the lack of perks, privileges, benefits, and recognition can create a hostile work environment. But, the reality is that for a workplace to be hostile, certain legal criteria must be met.
A hostile work environment is created by a boss or coworker whose actions, communication, or behavior make doing your job impossible. This means that the behavior altered the terms, conditions, and/or reasonable expectations of a comfortable work environment for employees. Additionally, the behavior, actions or communication must be discriminatory in nature.
Tonight we will be talking about the environment.

From hippies hugging trees to global warming deniers grasping at straws, tonight's show will mainly be dealing with issues surrounding the environment. We will discuss the validity of several environmental concerns and answer questions like: What should be our relationship to it? Should the government have a say in how it is handled, or is it all of ours equally to do with what we please? Do we have an obligation to the generations to come to preserve it, or should they just figure out a way to get to Mars?!
All of this and more on tonight's show! Please join us and hear what Matt, Alex, and Darius have to say on this controversial topic.

"SLAVES TO SIN" / THE POWER OF ENVIRONMENT
SIN IS AN ENVIRONMENTAL HARZARD
They answered Him, "We are Abraham's descendants and have never yet been enslaved to anyone; how is it that You say, 'You will become free '?" 34Jesus answered them, "Truly, truly, I say to you, everyone who commits sin is the slave of sin. 35"The slave does not remain in the house forever; the son does remain forever.… John 8:33-35
“When we walk in a library, we go quiet. When we go to a club, we start or at least feel like dancing. Dancing in a library or reading a book in a disco simply doesn’t feel right, so we don’t do it. Many of us are trying to be creative while working in a office cubicle. Some of us are trying to heavenly while living in hell, and we wonder why we keep getting distracted or doing a poor job.”
We all can take action and use our consumer power to make change in the world... But there is more that we can do.

in Real Estate
Many home owners or owners of any type of real estate lose their properties via a "hostile takeover". Hostile takeovers that involve real estate holdings can take place in many ways. Some legal, some illegal including some tactics that are violent in nature. All property owners should be aware of these methods and all people considering purchasing any type of real estate should be aware of all of the various ways that someone or even the government will attempt to take your real estate by hostile means.
In this re-airing, blogger Sacerdotus continues his summary of his Atheism is Stupid V post (http://sacerdotvs.blogspot.com/2014/02/atheism-is-stupid-v.html) where he addresses the suggestion made by atheists and astrophysicists such as Neil Tyson Degrasse that the universe is hostile and this shows there is no intelligent design or God.
Sacerdotus shows how the universe is design with specificity allowing for life to exist and that this hints as intention and intelligence. He counters the argument against God by using science and reason.
