The word of the Lord which came to Hosea the son of Beeri, during the days of Uzziah, Jotham, Ahaz and Hezekiah, kings of Judah, and during the days of Jeroboam the son of Joash, king of Israel.
When the Lord first spoke through Hosea, the Lord said to Hosea, “Go, take to yourself a wife of harlotry and have children of harlotry; for the land commits flagrant harlotry, forsaking the Lord.” So he went and took Gomer the daughter of Diblaim, and she conceived and bore him a son. And the Lord said to him, “Name him Jezreel; for yet a little while, and I will punish the house of Jehu for the bloodshed of Jezreel, and I will put an end to the kingdom of the house of Israel. On that day I will break the bow of Israel in the valley of Jezreel.”
Then she conceived again and gave birth to a daughter. And the Lord said to him, “Name her Lo-ruhamah, for I will no longer have compassion on the house of Israel, that I would ever forgive them. But I will have compassion on the house of Judah and deliver them by the Lord their God, and will not deliver them by bow, sword, battle, horses or horsemen.”
When she had weaned Lo-ruhamah, she conceived and gave birth to a son. And the Lord said, “Name him Lo-ammi, for you are not My people and I am not your God.”
Yet the number of the sons of Israel Will be like the sand of the sea, Which cannot be measured or numbered; And in the place Where it is said to them, “You are not My people,” It will be said to them, “You are the sons of the living God.” And the sons of Judah and the sons of Israel will be gathered together, And they will appoint for themselves one leader, And they will go up from the land, For great will be the day of Jezreel.
A wife is the female partner in a marriage relationship. The origin of this God ordained institution is traced back in the Bible to the Garden of Eden....
Hoshea (Hosea) was an interesting man. He married and had three children whose names were dictated by God. Each name had a meaning in the historic scheme of Israel. We know that any nation that calls itself after Yahweh, the God of Israel, should expect to be treated like Israel was treated, both in blessings and in curses. There are modern day applications to America in regard to Hosea's prophecies. Listen in as we look at the parallels, and the results. Opposing The Matrix airs on Saturday at 6PM Pacific and 9PM Eastern. Please feel free to call into the show.
In this episode of The Red Light Sports Ramble, presented by The Red Light Sports Network, Evan Witalison and Troy Otradovec welcome defensive tackle Hosea Crooms, to the show. Crooms played football for Lincoln University, in Pennslyvania. He is listed at 6-2; 360 and hopes to be a late round draft pick. Evan and Troy will talk football, and how he is preparing for the NFL Draft. Crooms could possibly be a late round pick, or a street free agent.
In the second half, of the show, we will get you caught up, with all of the official NFL signings. Indianapolis brought in some veteran guys, do you think these moves will help them get to the Super Bowl? Listen in and call the show.
When we studied the Old Testament book of Amos we learned that he prophesied the disaster that would affect the whole nation. The people, those who were "at comfort in Zion" and who were confident that no evil would ever come upon their land, promptly rejected the message of Yahweh. However, when Hosea came on the scene only a few years later, these attitudes had changed. Events had occurred that rocked their confidence. No longer was there a stable government on which the people could rely. With the invasion of the Assyrian armies imminent, Israel kept the peace only by paying an enormous tribute to the Assyrian rulers. How does the events of Zion relate to us today? Who is the Bride paying tribute to today?
Join us eachThursday evening as we come together to study the word of Yahweh at The Well of New Beginnings Ministries with Apostle Carmen. The Word says...to study to show yourself approved to God a good workman... That means that we each must acknowledge our responsible to know what our Father says as it relates to our personal and corporate daily lives. The Word is the promises and instruction of G-d to HIs people while we live in this strange land that is not our home. Let's "rightly" divide the Word so that we may be the light and the salt of the earth until the bridegroom comes for His own.

Why was Hosea instructed by Spirit to marry a woman of reported ill-repute?
?What does this act symbolize? Hosea and his wife,Gomer have three children. What are the names of the children? What is the the relationship between Israel and Yahweh? There is a continued mention of children, what does this signify and what were the names of the children>
As we are reading the Book of Hosea, the setting shows that the Northern Kingdom had ascribed its prosperity under King Jeroboam II to Baal and the fertility religion rather than to Yahweh, the Almighty God. Judgment emerged; as a result about 745 B.C. Hosea called God’s unfaithful people to repent due to the fact that they had broken God’s covenant and served idols, man mad gods. The result was very consequential; they had to encounter God’s discipline and judgment before they could again experience God’s grace and His love relationship.
As you are encountering God in Hosea, how do you describe you current relationship with God contrasting to the past, is it better or worse? Do you prefer to call out to God as a result of His judgment and discipline or will you volitionally call on Him? Is your relationship with God worth giving up all loyalties? Are you willing to acknowledge we all have unfaithfulness in our lives, confess them and let God to Control? If God desires to take you on the road to discipline, will you willingly follow? Will you acknowledge God’s unconditional love and faithfulness?
Some of the crises of belief that you will face in Hosea are to be discipline, there must be confession of sin that leads to self-reliance on God and that when God sets up a plumb line to initiate corrections we must obey to experience His forgiveness, resulting the manifestation of grace and mercies.
