Ep. 14: AUDIO TEST. JUST HOOKED UP NEW GEAR.

    in Podcasting

This is just an audio test.

MIC 1 (MXL 990) going into Behringer Ultragain Pro MIC2200 microphone preamp, channel 1 XLR input.

    Phantom 48v power is ON.

Behringer Ultragain Pro MIC2200 microphone preamp, channel 1 XLR output going into Behringer Eurorack Pro RX1202FX rackmount mixer, channel 1 XLR input.

MIC 2 (MXL 991) going into Behringer Ultragain Pro MIC220 microphone preamp, channel 2 XLR input.

    Phantom 48v power is ON.

Behringer Ultragain Pro MIC2200 microphone preamp, channel 2 XLR output going into Behringer Eurorack Pro RX1202FX rackmount mixer, channel 1 XLR input.

Behringer Eurorack Pro RX1202FX microphone channels are set at 9 o'clock gain, 15+ db fader, noon high eq, 2 o'clock bass eq, monitor noon, balance even.

Behringer Ultragain Pro MIC2200 microphone preamp is set at 48v phantom power on, mic input, lo cut on, frequency pass 60, high filter on, frequency pass 400, bandwidth 0.7, eq out -8.

Yeah, I know... a bunch of technical mumbo jumbo.

I'm just typing it as a reminder to myself just in case I need to tweak anything.

Tube in preamp seems to get warm. I need to keep a watchful eye on that!

Anyways, this is me trying to rebuild my studio without your help.

I should have it completely rebuilt by the year 2020.

If you would like to help me repair the crack in the basement foundation and get my studio back in operation, please visit www.gofundme.com/disabledmanpodcast to donate money and share the link.

Thank you for your support, regardless.

Stay awesome! Stay cool! And I'll see ya!

What The HELL Was That!? Connecting With The Other Side Questions

    in Paranormal

It is true, we can communicate with spirit and see spirit and smell orders that could only be smelled when certain people were around. Human energy is strong, ever-lasting and has a voice. Today we can find many tools to help us with communicating with the other side (so to speak), many of which come under scrutinizing eye's and harsh words of criticism from people who either, have physical proof of their claims or have found that making such accusations can lead to some sort of fame. Lately, I have heard many arguments about the "voice box" and I challenge you to call in an bring your proof forward that this device does not in fact work as it is claimed. Be prepared though because I for one love to use this on our investigations. This is an interactive show and callers are encouraged to ask questions of any sort related to the topic at hand.

Avril has a B.S. in exercise science from Georgia State University and a Master's of public health from Benedictine University. Avril began studying Yoga philosophy two decades ago, which has inspired her to become a coach in these teachings--where meditation is central. Avril leads weekly meditation groups and a Sunday service at Unity North Atlanta. This is where she first learned about United Intentions during a presentation. She was instantly hooked and desires to share how the process of meditation can clear the mind for precise intentions and help maintain the momentum for attaining them. She works for Piedmont Healthcare leading: Yoga Therapy classes and mindfulness-based employee stress management classes.

Clarifying No Contact - The Common Pitfalls That Keep Us Hooked

    in Relationships

Anyone that has experienced narcissistic abuse, knows the feeling like black ink and ice running through your veins, when enmeshed with a narcissist.

If you don’t achieve No Contact it is like being continually poisoned whilst trying to detox from the poison that is making you so sick. It’s very, very difficult to get well when you are constantly tied up in the battle of trying to survive the onslaughts of narcissistic abuse.

Sadly, no contact is often misunderstood, and even when you having “physically” broken contact, there still could be other ties that are unknowingly stunting your ability to recover and get well.

So ... I wanted to clarify exactly what No Contact means and address the common mistakes, to ensure you are not still tied to the narcissist in any way. This allows you to move forward in your recovery, transcend from the cycle of abuse and ultimately Thrive.

Clarifying No Contact - The Common Pitfalls That Keep Us Hooked

No Contact is probably the biggest buzz word in narcissistic abuse recovery, and that’s really no surprise because it’s widely acknowledged that No Contact from a narcissist is vital in order to recover from one.
