The Comtivate Show wants to honor all service men and women across the nation. Thank you for your time, dedication, and commitment to the American people.
Memorial Day, originally called Decoration Day, is a day of remembrance for those who have died in our nation's service. Memorial Day was officially proclaimed on 5 May 1868 by General John Logan, national commander of the Grand Army of the Republic, in his General Order No. 11, and was first observed on 30 May 1868, when flowers were placed on the graves of Union and Confederate soldiers at Arlington National Cemetery. The first state to officially recognize the holiday was New York in 1873. By 1890 it was recognized by all of the northern states. ~www.usmemorialday.org

In Mark 2:27 Jesus said," The Sabbath was made for man,not man for the Sabbath " God gave the Sabbath as a blessing,as a gift. Ezekiel 20: 12 God said,I gave them my Sabbaths." It is a gift from God to us. By the seventh day God had finished the work he had been doing; so on the seventh day he rested from all his work. Then God blessed the seventh day and made it holy, because on it he rested from all the work of creating that he had done. Genesis 2:1-3.
