Today we are live from the High Line - NYC
The collectivity project
May 29 – September 30, 2015
Daily, 10:00 AM to 7:00 PM
On the High Line at West 30th Street
Turns out, those simpler pleasures aren’t so easily let go. At least, that’s the idea behind The collectivity Project” an art installation and social experiment inhabiting New York’sHigh Line around West 30th Street. It opened in May as part of “Panorama,” an outdoor art collection sponsored by High Line Art. The premise of designer and artist Olafur Eliasson is simple: gather up around two tons of all white legos, hire ten architectural firms to build the most outlandish things they can fathom, and invite anyone who passes to pick it all apart and build something of their own.
In this episode Joanne will focus in on three major areas:
1. High School Record Keeping
2. Advantages for the Self-Propelled High School Student
3. The College Admissions Process
You'll get the inside scoop on these important topics from this mom who has sent five, going on six, students off to the colleges of their choice!
High blood pressure affects about 70 million American adults. That’s 29% or 1 of every 3 adults. Furthermore, nearly 1 in 3 American adults have prehypertension, nearly doubling those numbers. Worldwide the numbers aren’t much better. There are more than 22% of adults diagnosed with high blood pressure.
Seeing that it often leads to serious health concerns and ultimately death, it is sobering to know that something as simple as exercise and what you eat (or don’t eat) can have a major impact in improving your numbers if not completely eradicating the high blood pressure all together. Unfortunately, we live in an overmedicated society where we have been conditioned to think that a simple pill will fix us and it is a much easier approach than having to change our lifestyle.
In this episode Dr. Budweiser, founder of Weiser Living, will talk about what high blood pressure is, the dire consequences of not dealing with it and how you can heal yourself naturally.
Why Your Blood Pressure Rises
What Are The Symptoms Of High Blood Pressure
What Are The Long Term Health Implications
Medications That Alter Blood Pressure
Side Effects Of High BP Medication
The Deceiving Recent Changes In Blood Pressure Numbers
How To Lower, Improve & Maintain A Healthy Blood Pressure
Supplements To Reduce BP
High Blood Pressure And The Salt Myth
How To Reduce Your BP In 15 Minutes With Sole
... and of course much, much more!
So stay tuned for a high pressured 30 minutes of pure wisdom!
